Good Morning and Welcome to the weekend! Hagatha looks like a done deal on the sale and the humpback viewing must have been spectacular! Draclvr sounds like you are having a wonderful time with family and friends! Soot hope you get to relax a little this weekend. Our weather has improved...a little less smoke from the fires in Canada...wind changed direction. Double dark brew Sumatra and strong tea are ready. Enjoy your weekend everyone! Gerry

Last day of the Colorado grandkids today. I took them down to Longmeadow, the horse rescue I work at, yesterday and they went to the County Fair last night. Everyone is taking today to kind of wind down before they head out tomorrow morning. I think they have had a wonderful time, but Grandma is tired!
The Germans move in Sunday after they leave, but they take care of themselves!
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

If it's Monday, the grandkids are back in Colorado and the Germans have moved in! I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with laundry! It was carry-out pizza last night!

It is so COLD here! It got down to 49 degrees F last night! The Germans didn't even go for their church walk until it warmed up a bit at 8:00! I have a tour down at Longmeadow and don't know what to wear...
YES to that double dark hot brew, Gerry!

We are having a major wind event today! It's up to 70KPH and not letting up .
I wonder how windy it will be on the little peninsula I'll be moving to? It's only a few feet higher above sea level than this place is.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Morning Connie, Draclvr, soot, hagatha, and everyone! The usual extra dark brew and strong English tea await you all. Connie did you have a fun time bowling? Draclvr hope you stayed warm for the "tour" at Longmeadow. What are you up to today soot? Hagatha has the wind calmed down? Weather for today better? Enjoy your Hump Day everyone! Gerry

Good morning to all. Woke up to both howling wind and howling cats . It's a good thing those furbabies are so sweet. Otherwise...
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

The cats have resumed their 5 am performances of the famous tragic opera called "La mia ciotola è vuota."
It's been going on for a couple of weeks.

"La mia ciotola è vuota" is a heartrending tale of two poor little cats whose evil stepmother starves them mercilessly. It ends tragically with the two little cats being turfed out to fend for themselves in the cruel world, holding their empty little bowls out for scraps from passersby.
