Thanks! That is a great price for a Nancy Drew games bundle.

There is a nice Flashback sale today where if you are a Club member a whole bunch of HOPA CEs are $5.99 each. I got two games over the weekend, though, so I will not be buying anything.

Only 2 games over the weekend Marian? I had to place 2 different orders again as they only allow you to buy 10 games at a time. wink

I would go for the Nancy Drew games since I only have them all on disc BUT I don't see the sense in buying them just because they are downloads, if they don't work on newer systems. I know they supposedly work but I don't feel comfortable about it since I am still only on my first playthrough of the the series. Also, I don't like that games 2 and 20 are not available. I understand 2 is very old but 20 was taken off the shelves for a very stupid reason (my opinion)! I enjoyed that game and didn't see anything wrong with it at all!

I completely agree with you about Nancy Drew game #20. I think the only reason it was removed was because Penny Milliken (HeR Interactive CEO) was making a pathetic attempt to try to appear relevant. rolleyes Stay Tuned for Danger has sound issues on a lot of newer computers so that does not get offered anywhere but the company for a download (there is, by the way, a simple solution to fix the sound issue for those who have them - a neat little freeware program called Virtual Audio Cable). You can find videos on YouTube showing that all the ND games can be played on Windows 10/11, but not sure if they are all running off the CDs. I have all the original CDs but also have the downloads from Big Fish just so as to save wear and tear on my CDs.

Yes, only two games over the weekend. I showed great restraint, and those two games I had points for so there was no monetary expenditure this past weekend either. It sounds like you made out like a bandit. grin praise

Big Fish doesn't show Windows 10 for any of them except the last four or so. I will have to check out that Virtual Audio Cable.

Every time I think I've bought every game available, I find some more. lol

It's probably for the best that Big Fish excludes Windows 10 and 11 from their Nancy Drew download pages. Even though they could all work, there would no doubt be people who had issues and Big Fish isn't about to troubleshoot all of that, understandably.

Unfortunately, that Virtual Audio Cable looks way to complex for me!

I think it sounds more complicated than it really is. I have referred several people to it so that they could play STFD without the sound error and they all said it worked. And as far as I know, they did not have any particular technical knowledge. I will take a look at it again one of these days.

Well Marian, after looking at some Big Fish reviews with some people having trouble with some of the Nancy Drew games, and looking on Her Interactive and seeing problems, and seeing that Gamehouse says The White Wolf of Icicle Creek doesn't play in Windows 10, and knowing I'll probably never get around to playing them all much less replaying them all, I still went for the deal! I keep thinking how I fought downloads before but now I fight with CD's and then I was looking on one of my shelves with Nancy Drew and other games on it that is in an awkward place for me to access and how lazy I am, and how this certainly isn't the first time I may be wasting money on games and will probably not be the last, so what the heck. I had actually been thinking of replaying the first game in my XP but I don't think the optical drive in it is working anymore. I have not turned it on for awhile though to confirm. The second game, Stay Tuned for Danger, is available at Allvideo so that's an option also if I do decide to start replaying the series. Big Fish allowed me to buy all the games in one order (not just 10 like in the BOGO sales) so I also went for the two Casual games (which I also have on disc) even though they did not get the price reduction to $3.00, but did have the 30% discount. Overall, even with the tax added, they were all under $3.50 each.

duh What can I say?

It looks like the bundles changed again today. I am afraid to look! I have already spent more than double what I usually spend during one credit card statement period and there are still two weeks before it closes.

I need help !

Look on the bright side - maybe you will have a prolonged power outage. grin

What a relief. I'm kind of tempted by some of the Park Ranger games but am going to ignore them for the time being.

I only have one of those and one of the Cruise ones (from when they gave them away free in 2020). I haven't even tried either of them yet.

I find them to be pleasant, relaxing HOP games - hidden object games with some easy puzzles. If you like one, you will probably like them all, as they are all very similar.

Bundles are not showing today so I guess that means a BOGO sale. My CC statement still hasn't closed so I guess I need to have patience and wait for the next BOGO. I do have some games I'm looking to buy. smile

Yes, I have some games I am looking to buy too. Haven't decided whether it will be this weekend, though.

I caved in the last hour but am concerned about the number of points I received. I bought 4 CE's and 2 SE's, total of $49.95. I received 649 points. ??? I know sometimes they give away more points but I don't see anywhere on the site that this was the case right now. I also didn't see any sale banner on the site, but I had received an email regarding it. My order receipt is correct. Any idea?

Well, as someone who is not a Game Club member you are supposed to get 1% cash back, correct? And it looks like buying anything today, Monday, will give you bonus points. Did you place the order late enough that it was after midnight here on the West Coast? If so, you might have ended up taking advantage of both yesterday's and today's offer.

It was just after 11 pm here in Chicago. How do you know there are bonus points today? As mentioned, I am not seeing banners or notifications on the site. I just signed in to look, and no email either. Is the bonus points receiving 100 extra points per game purchased? If so, maybe I did just luck out there (which will prove that it's good to cave in to the sales)! lol

When I got up this morning, there was a banner on the website about bonus points today. When I open up the Game Manager, it says, "bonus points today!" I see it as a banner on the website now too, but I had to hit refresh once or twice before it came up. I am thinking that maybe they plugged that into the system last night before you ordered the games - it seems like the likely explanation unless it's a glitch, in which case I would just consider myself lucky. bunny
