I'm doing okay in Gharik's Forge except I'm running around in circles. Seems all I do is get hit with the fire balls and pull levers that don't seem to do much other than open doors to partial walkways onto the lava pit. Somewhere I'm missing something but I haven't figured it out yet.

Skippy I can't even find Longfang - he's not in Dragonsand is he or was he that easy one right at first? I think I have my dragons confused

Longfang's not in Dragonsand. He's in a cave just behind Darkmoor Castle. We cast "shrinking ray" on him, and then just kept chipping away until he was dead. I found the dragons in Dragonsands a lot tougher, especially when you're surrounded by them. We didn't manage to kill any of them.

I am still plugging away doing what I'm not sure...
wondering where I should be..trying to do some of the quest..how can I get to some places-like Castle Stone-?? I've been trying for 2 days..I shall make it..darn harpies..

I take it you're heading north from Free Haven? The harpies there are really annoying, but you shouldn't be far from Castle Stone.

Syd, if you open the levers in the right sequence, and can cross the bridge, on the other side you'll get to where you need to go.

Yep, that's where I was..right now I am at Castle Stone and happy to say was able to master in a few things and getting my cleric to a priest quest
I don't like those Harpies..I can't look up..so shooting at them is a tad difficult..they're nasty aren't they? loud too!

Castle Darkmoor is a hard place to get through but you are getting through it Skippy. Way to go.

Arrrgggghhhh - sorry had to vent Thanks for telling me that the levers have to moved in a certain order nickie but unfortunately I've got them all mixed up and I can't tell east from west in here. I'm still running around pulling levers and getting no where - I'm getting dizzy

You have my sympathy Syd. That's where I got stuck last time I was there. I'm heading back to the forge for another try. Might see you there!

Did you finish Darkmoor or are you taking a break from it?

Glory Hallelujah, I finished Darkmoor. I got the Delta crystal and destroyed the book of liches.

We're now at Gharik's Forge, at the bridges. I hate the thought of looking down and seeing your team floating in the lava. I'm really not keen on bridges and heights in general. We'll be the ones gripping the handrail and taking deep breaths. Oh, wait, there are no handrails. We'll be crawling across the bridges on our hands and knees.

Skippy, if you can finish Darkmoor, the Forge shouldn't be a problem at all.

You all better stay out of that lava!

Well...... actually...... just for the heck of it....... I did jump in Other than my group going "oooh, ahhh" and looking like someone smacked them up side the head with a 2 x 4 it was kind of fun. I didn't die immediately. There happens to be a teleporting stone against the wall that puts you back in the lower hallway, I think - they all look alike to me. Anyway, I still haven't found a way to get those levers to work correctly and I tried for another hour last night before giving up.

Skippy!!!!! Way to go on Darkmoor From what I hear that's the toughest place in the game.

Way to go y'all ..I'm following your crumbs you left for me..right now, I'm fumbling around the snow area..finding out just how many different ways we can die..amazing atually.
Trying to figure out what quest I want to do and can't so going back and forth right now..several saves, so I figure the one I can conquer that's the one I meant to do...

I don't know Syd, I get a spurt where I can complete some quests, one, two three..then like today..can't even figure out what town I want to be in..
I'm so confused today....anyone want to join my mind and have cotton candy in brain, come on along for the ride..

I figured out those dratted levers Took looking at another map that actually told me which way was north (I realize to most it's obvious but where directions are concerned my mind works backwards - literally) If you guys would have seen me trying to find my way around San Francisco last week you'd have died laughing - matter of fact it's amazing I didn't make the news
