I am alternating between So Much Stuff 4 and Cursed Fates The Headless Horseman. I purchased Headless Horseman a few years ago but
i don't remember it. I am in a Halloween mood now! So I also have pulled out Halloween Patchworks Trick Or Treat. witch

I played Cursed Fates: The Headless Horseman from my disc though I don't remember how long ago. I know I liked it and should play it again. Should also replay Mystery Legends: Sleepy Hollow and Penny Dreadfuls: Sweeny Todd which I have on disc. I love those type of games.

An older game but a really good one - and from the same developer as Mystery Legends: Sleepy Hollow.

Marian, a couple of years ago you recommended Crystals of Time on the review thread. I couldn't get it to play on my old computer. Even changing the DPI, the game froze on the front porch and I had to do a hard shut down. When I had to replace the laptop a few months later, it didn't occur to me that the game might run on Windows 11 with a DPI change until now.

Low and behold, Crystals of Time is running pretty well. I got one access error after closing the game and reentering which cured itself when I backed out of the scene then came back in to try the lock on the door.

Crystals of Time is a good early HOPA with attractive graphics.

That is so interesting that an older game finally worked when installed on the newest operating system, 8dognight. Quite the opposite of what one might expect. This is why I see to it that I always have some older computers around so as to have a variety.

I'm glad you like Crystals of Time. It might have been Jenny100 who recommended the game, bless her heart - I can't remember for sure. I picked up Crystals of Time a while back but haven't played it yet.

Labyrinths of the World: Fool's Gold was pretty good. I'm now halfway through Dark Romance: The Monster Within and I'm enjoying it better than I did the Romeo and Juliet one. Jackpumpkin

That's good to hear, ob. I don't think I have played Monster Within yet.

I am on level 50 of Laruaville 5 and am probably going to play Phantasmat: Reign of Shadows CE next. ghost

Glad you are enjoying Sweeney Todd, Marlene! There are some real gems in Big Fish's back catalogue and I am happy that oldbroad mentioned it. Jackpumpkin

The Monster Within started to wear thin on me towards the end but it was definitely better than Romeo and Juliet. I am now playing Enchanted Kingdom: The Secret of the Golden Lamp.

Not too enamoured with "Whispered Secrets : Purrfect Horror" whistle

The story is fine but some of the puzzles I am finding really boring tired

So if it doesn't buck up somewhat I might (temporarily) shelve it and attempt something else yes

I don't have Voodoo Whisperer but have looked into it not long ago. I hope this isn't a spoiler alert. I don't even know if it's true. My understanding from something I saw is that it ends on a cliffhanger. Marian, do you know?

I have played a lot of casuals this year since I have been focused on finishing up all my Domini games. It sometimes feels like a chore but I like that it is keeping me going with them. I have gotten behind in my Adventures though. Come January I will ease up on the casuals a little but I hope to stay at a steady pace, just not as steady as I've been these last several months. I don't know how to ever get caught up though when I keep adding to the pile.

I finished Enchanted Kingdom: Secret of the Golden Lamp. It was different than the others in the series. Not a bad game, a little short. I am now playing Mystery Tales: Dealer's Choice which has a nicely different back drop to it! I also finished my Jewel Match game.

Oldbroad, I don't remember if it was a cliffhanger, but I do remember that there was supposed to be a sequel to the game, which never materialized, and thus it may have left some loose ends. That was a bit of disappointment, just like Dying for Daylight was supposed to be more than one game and it never happened.

I liked Dealer's Choice for the reason you mention. Congratulations on finishing the Jewel Match game!

I finished Voodoo Whisperer Curse Of A Legend and they are right. There is a cliffhanger with no sequel! So disappointing! thumbsdown

It is unfortunate. Chances are that the game did not sell well enough to warrant a sequel. I pretty much enjoyed all HOPAs that were published or developed by Gogii. They had such a variety. Haunted Past: Realm of Ghosts is another interesting one.

That's too bad Penny Lane but thanks for the confirmation. I despise cliffhangers but I still did enjoy Dying for Daylight. I probably won't get this game though but if I do, at least I am forewarned. True Fear is supposed to be a really good game but so far only 2 parts of 3 have been released. I finally had broke down and bought the 2 parts but am still waiting for the third part before I play it. Maybe you have some info about this Marian?
