Nice to see you this morning, soot and Connie! I'll grab a cup of that Sumatra coffee, please! For anyone who is having chilly weather I've brought something new I discovered... instant hot cocoa made by Land O Lakes. This is NOT your old instant cocoa from the grocery store! Super creamy and tastes SO much better! I got a box with different flavors and had a cup of the Salted Caramel Cocoa last night. Hubby tried the Chocolate Supreme and said it was wonderful.
Nothing much on the plate today. Took off another 9 racks of dried tomato slices this morning.
League bowling tonight!

Good morning all.
It's really cold this morning. I've got the landscaper coming over to winterize my watering system since we should be getting enough rain now to keep the garden alive.
Not much to do today otherwise. I've got my group this afternoon, which will give me a chance to do a bit of shopping and then we're back to watching Lupin.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I’ve been “re-discovering” my enjoyment of Horlicks. Loved it as a child and am still very much liking it now 👍👍

Mad, I had to look up what Horlicks is! I love the taste of malt, so would probably like it too!

Yes. I also used to drink Ovaltine, Lex With Horlicks, I buy the "sachets" (in packs of 30). So that each drink I make is the freshest it can possibly be

That sounds like a version of our UK “Ice Cream Float” 🙂

Mad, we have ice cream floats here too. The most common one is a root beer float with vanilla or chocolate ice cream. That coffee milkshake sounds pretty darned tasty too, Lex!
Brewed an extra pot of that dark Kenyan coffee to go with Connie's goodies again this morning. It's VERY chilly out, so I do feel a cup of that hot coco coming on later! Think I'll try the Chocolate Mint flavor.
Date night with hubby tonight. Think we'll go eat Mexican...
Happy Friday!

Another cold morning. Summer is over, I guess.
Lots of good dark coffee for me this morning.
I have a contractor coming this morning to put my front gate on a remote and hydraulics, since it is impossible to manage as a free-swinging gate on a windy day. Plus it's a real pain to have to fumble around in the dark for the lock when I come home at night. It's light enough to blow around but heavy enough to seriously damage my car. Once it's on the hydraulic hinges that won't happen.
I'll be spending the day going through boxes of books, packing up the ones I'll take to the local library in Nanoose. They'll take all of them up to the 20th of October for their book sale, so I'd better get at it.
Dude is almost back to his old self, even begging for play last night.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Oh, that Sumatra coffee sounds good, soot!
Connie, Halloween karaoke sounds like great fun!
Nice and chilly here. Seems like a good day to make some vegetable beef soup with barley and home made noodles. We always knew when my mom was making her vegetable beef soup - we would come home from school and there were noodles drying on the backs of the kitchen chairs on towels.
I started a deep clean in my house last week - it is in dire need after neglecting it through the summer!

Well, it was another busy crazy week and it isn't over yet. The continuous rain isn't helping since I'm out in it all day. It's been a very wet week here. My youngest son got married yesterday and I worked till noon and had someone fill in for me and take my afternoon clients, showered and drove an hour to get there by 3. Talk about a day! It poured constantly but we had a blast. Off to work in the rain now! Have a great day everyone!
