Just an update. I'm in the dark forest and boy are there some tough things there. But I went up 1 whole level in the forest. I'm a level 31 , reputation 26 right now and I'm on my way to find the tree. I'm still am not sure how to use charms on my weapons. I'm assuming that a weapon with a charm level 5 is worth using charms on. Am I right? Thanks Kim

Kim is enchant weapons one of your skills? If it is, you can use the charms on any weapons that you have. If the weapon is one that you will use, then yes it's worth charming.

Yes enchant weapon is one of my skills but only a lev 1. Should I make it higher? I'm trying to use my skill points wisely. I have about 15 skills, most or lev 1 or 2 except for my restoration which is 3. I have 12 skill points to use and I'm trying to save them till the end so I'll know which levels to pick.

Okay Kim. If you have a weapon you love and either a gold or silver colored charm go ahead and use it. Just make sure that it's for something that you need to boost. I din't use the turquoise or orange colored charms unless it was for a weapon or armor that I knew I would get rid of. Just know that once you use a charm, you can't remove it from that weapon or piece of armor. You have just started moving around the Dark Forest? You still have time to use your skill points as you desire. Have fun

Hi Kim, The enchant weapons works like this...with each point you place towards that skill that's how many charms you may use. Most weapons have the lower side of the 1-5 so One is fine, but they never come out once in. Since you're just starting unless you have found a superb weapon, if you have anything on you that accepts charms, try one of the pretty colors and see if you can see a differnce in your stats using it with a charm. I only kept the gold ones, the others I sold..but that was later in the game..this soon, I would not waste a gold charm on..but that's me. Oh, you all are having so much fun and doing so well, you're pros already.. Ingie

I'm doing good so far. I'm a lev 32 with lots of rep pts. Getting kinda nervous because things are getting tougher and I'm probably not as prepared as I should be, like charms etc. Also not sure if I've found the "perfect weopon yet" Don't like the staffs or maces but I use axes and swords. What was yur favorite weapon?

Level 32 is very good. I used a sword or axe when a warrior. If a sword/ long sword with shield.. Also used the scorpion traps as much as possible. Thing is with RPGs, don't be in a hurry. The games are usually very big and the quests are plenty in this game. More quest you do and finish, the higher your levels. The more you nose around, the more you'll find..If an enemy is too strong, go elsewhere. Always save..egads, I really need to drill that into my own head..SAVE You're a natural Ingie

Hi Ingie, I meant battles, I was terrible! Had a lousy weapon and no good skill to help me out. But I ventured in the woods close to the village and got 2 levels killing the orcs. So I used the points wisely now which really helped me out. I'm really concentrating in killing as many enemies as I can to help me with experience points. I'm loving this game!!!

Hi Raven, You didn't fail the quest He wasn't going to be there no matter what you did or didn't do. I think the point of this was to get you the quest to go the Dwarfen bread Inn to look for him. This is my first RPG and I'm learning too but you will get more comfortable as you go along. Trust me I know! There is a lot of good advice in this thread that people gave me that you will benefit from. Good luck Kim

It's part of the main quest...you know I think if we could look back, and I think it may be in the achives..you'll see .... I asked the very same question...+ I had this wild orc witch doctor after me..yep, inside he came. Stopped while talking...then as soon as conversation was over, right back to trying to kill me..the polite jerk Ingie

Raven I almost think that you will have to join. There is one very important item in there and a way to work on at least one optional quest too while there.
