I have played Christmas Spirit: Grimm Tales but don't remember it. I have not started the Bridge to Another World series yet at all.

I finished up Labyrinths of the World: Eternal Winter yesterday and will start Dark Romance: Hunchback of Notre Dame today. Coming down to the home stretch with my Domini/Steam/Windows 7 saga so I'm not sure I can squeeze a Christmas game in now. I have a Domini Christmas game and also a Halloween one (that I couldn't take time for) that need playing but not as urgently as some others. Maybe I can do a Christmas Match 3 instead.

I am playing Mystery Tales: Master of Puppets. It is okay but I don't understand what is going on in the story - at all. I'm very confused about the people.

Master of Puppets is on my finished-game list from the last three years, but I could not tell you a single thing about it. I wish I could. Too many games since then.

I just took a look at the reviews and saw people complaining about a missing saw blade on a table near the beginning of the bonus game. This *might* be the game I was mentioning where I hit a glitch and had to restart the bonus game and follow the walkthrough exactly until I got to the table - it was in the second area of the bonus game so not very far in. I do remember that my item that was missing was supposed to be on a table, so this might be the game.

I have been playing nothing but time management games. Presently playing Arcane Arts Academy (another time management game).

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind when I get to the bonus section which should be tonight.

I remember the area where you find the table is through the entrance to the left of the first area. That might help you determine if this is the same glitch I was recalling.

Well Marian, I also hit this glitch. I got out of the game, went back in, reset the bonus chapter and followed the guide step by step. Still glitched. Since it is right at the beginning, I may try one more time but it is looking like I will not be able to complete it.

Next I'll be playing Labyrinths of the World: The Game of Minds but I don't know if I'll start it tonight or tomorrow.

That is really too bad that you can't get past the glitch, ob. I had no trouble with it once I followed the guide. I wonder why? duh

I have not played that particular Labyrinths game, although I do have it.

I tried a third time and it still didn't work BUT as I was clicking to start that third time, I thought about the "mode" and after failing that time I tried one more time. I had originally been playing in "advanced mode" so I tried "casual mode" and that did the trick so I did get to finish the game, although I ended up skipping the very last puzzle because it was irritating me immensely.

That was clever of you to think of trying a different difficulty level. I don't remember the last puzzle. Glad you made it through!

I just finished Arcane Arts Academy and will probably play another TM game now.

I started Dark Romance: The Ethereal Garden tonight. It seems pretty interesting. I accidentally clicked skip or hint or something in one of the puzzles and it completed itself. It wasn't that fun of a puzzle anyway though.

I played and finished Ethereal Gardens in the last couple of years. I enjoyed it.

I am playing Word Bird Supreme, a twist on word search games and a genre I ordinarily loathe. Word Bird offers large boards, plus power-ups and a scoring system I have yet to understand fully and probably never will.

One feature which I disliked at first allows the game itself to enter the longest or best word possible that starts with the first letter clicked on after the cursor starts to sparkle. When the game played "fedyadeen" in what looked like a mad woman's staircase dancing from one end of the board to the other, I grudgingly admitted to myself I was never going to have registered that word in my brain. On other occasions the game has played "onioned" and "belfried," presumably meaning something like: I onioned the soup then belfried an emergency claxon.

Hmm. If you say so, okay.

Word Bird is addictive and much more difficult than it sounds. The bonus is that words which average Scrabble players (and I was one and don't even play anymore) never get to play come up regularly. For example, if I don't flummox the play, I eventually will get "frumenty" and "exaltations" on the same board in a galaxy of linguistic delights. Remember to look for those ght suffixes. They are helpful.

I think the only word game I've played is Amazing Pyramids: Rebirth. I thought I might have another one or two but a search under word games on BF isn't showing me any others that I have.

I'm going to start Dark Romance: Ashville tonight.

I really enjoyed Ashville, more than I thought I would.

I finished my time management game today. Not sure what's next.

After very much enjoying my re-play of Web of Deceit Black Widow CE, I marched through hours and hours of iPad Match 3 games - and had a great time 😑

But then I began to miss a proper ‘story telling’ Casual so have now fired up my other Web of Deceit game - Deadly Sands CE - and just know it will be another wonderful re-play because Blam (?) games are so good 👍

You've got me downloading the two Web of Deceit games now to add to my ever growing queue of games to play next. Maybe by this time next year I'll have played them.

One of the several reasons I particularly like these two games is that they lean more towards FMV than Cartoon style graphics 🙂

I have gone back to my Nancy Drew games. I am playing The Secret Of Shadow Ranch. I haven't played Nancy Drew for a long time and I decided today to play again. the series is still my favorite games. How I wish HER Interactive had not sold out. It was great having 2 new games every year! Ah, the good old days................. smirk

I so agree, Marlene! They are making the next ND game now, but I don't think the new efforts will ever measure up to the old ones.

I started Dark Romance: Vampire Origins tonight.

Regarding Nancy Drew, I have only so far played the first 21 games, and only one time for each. I played that last one sometime in 2021. It is not that I don't like the games, it is just that I have too many games I am trying to play. I have had Trail of the Twister sitting near my computer all that time just waiting for me to install it. Hopefully soon. It's actually been on my mind recently.

I haven't played Vampire Origins. It will be good to hear your thoughts about it.

And yes, I was wondering when you were going to play another ND game as it's been a while. You are doing well, though, with them! There are so many.

Marian, I can't really give much thoughts about Vampire Origins. i guess it was good enough but I am so burnt out on these games that I am getting very crabby with them. I ended up skipping a few of the puzzles in it. I finished it a couple days ago and have also now finished Dark Romance: Sleepy Hollow. I still have 19 Domini games to play, 16 of them that will only play on my Win 7 BUT I have finished all the ones that I bought from Steam so I am going to ease down on them a little. I still want to get them finished off though.

I think my next game (from Steam and already on my Win 7) will be Mind's Eye: Secrets of the Forgotten, because that Gamehouse list shows it does not play in Win 10. May not be true as I did play one in Win 10 that they say didn't work but I'm going to go ahead and play it next anyway.

Oldbroad, I understand what you have said about getting burned out. It happens to me too.

I will have to see if I have Mind's Eye.

And yes, just because something is on a list of not working well with Windows 10, it is a good idea to try it anyway. Sometimes it presents problems for some people but not others.
