Nothing to worry about. I have an ad blocker and it did not interfere with anything. But if it does, just shut it off until you get the code and then enable it again.

All Ad Blockers are not the same. Just turn it off for a minute or two until you get the code. Big Fish does not carry spyware. wave

There I was thoroughly enjoying the understated comedic dialog in Runefall 2 when the phone rang and I answered without pausing the game. The person on the other end of the line got to hear loud and clear the words "Princess Isabella" to my everlasting shame as an otherwise rational adult.

I don't know if I can bring myself to go back to Runefall 2 without feeling like an idiot.

I am just finishing up the Twistingo series. Not sure where I'm heading next. Probably an Adventure game. I am going to replay Sherlock Holmes ; The Secret Of The Silver Earring. I played that one several years ago but only once. smile I have also been playing Thanksgiving Day Mosaic. I am almost done with that one! turkey thanksgiving

I haven't played Silver Earring in a very long time. Sounds like fun, Marlene! turkey

Have fun with Secret of the Silver Earring Penny Lane. I will be playing that in the near future I think. I recently replayed Mystery of the Mummy and really enjoyed it.

I am currently playing Dark Romance: A Performance to Die For. I am enjoying it but once again, the puzzles are not all being cooperative. There was one I did earlier today where you line up 4 icons (I don't know what to call them) vertically. There is a picture clue of how they should look. They line up in the row in a certain order and also have to be in the right orientation. You move and end up turning the icons when you use a little tube thing. I had them all correct but two of the four did not take. I exercised patience, reset, and tried again. That time one of the didn't seem to want to take but after a very long pause it did. May be my computer; I don't know.

Now I am at this puzzle that wasn't doing anything for me. So I looked at the in game walkthrough and it shows there should be a ball. I don't have a ball so I looked at the video walkthrough in this link and clearly see the ball. I don't have it, not in "hard" mode anyway. If I change to "easy" mode it is there. Maybe it would appear if I exit out of the game and go back in. I don't know. Anyway, back to the game.

The puzzle is at 1:20:01 in the video. Of course, in the video it is showing "easy" mode so maybe that player didn't have it in "hard" mode either ?? The first puzzle that I explained badly is at 1:08:03 in the video.

I took a look at both of the puzzles. I was thinking that I had played this game, but now I am not so sure. I might have started it and then gotten distracted and never continued. Will put it on my play list.

That is weird that the ball isn't showing up in the hard difficulty mode.

I like the game a lot, Marian. Right now though, I'm stuck in a puzzle and don't really understand what I'm supposed to be doing. Probably time for a break.

Playing Grim Tales: All Shades of Black. Mainly to fill in the time until the latest MCF comes out. It's a decent game; faithfully following the concepts of previous installments in the Grim Tales series. Played the demo; then bought it on the weekend discount. Finding the crank handle or the drawer-pull gets a little old; but that's okay. What's not okay is when they dress up a puzzle to hide the fact that it's a maze. Have I mentioned I Hate Mazes (over the last thirty years?) Those are the only times I reach for the Skip Button. duh

thanksgiving

I bought the new Grim Tales over the weekend too, Tally Ho. I couldn't exactly ignore this game when I have every other installment. grin

The mazes in these casual games are usually simpler, though, right?

New MCF should be tomorrow for Game Club members and Wednesday for non-club members, hopefully.

Yeh, the "mazes" are really simplified; I just use them as an excuse to grumble. Actually the other puzzles in this chapter are quite attractive and fun to do. Just as an aside - I was unable to play the Find the Mirrors thing, even after turning off Adblock. No big deal, I think it's the browser's (Opera) fault.

I just finished Mystery Tales: Til Death but hit a glitch in the bonus chapter so couldn't actually finish it. I see reviewers on both Big Fish and Steam had the same problem. Tomorrow I'll start Hidden Expedition: A King's Line.

I also started Let's Travel: Welcome to Ukraine. Not sure about it yet.

I got hooked on Word Bird Supreme about six hours ago. It's now seven minutes to four in the morning, and I have things I need to do in the morning...I mean later in the morning...like when the sun is up.

I have no idea how the game works with it's mysterious power-ups that do odd things like explode letters near played letters but it's addicting to try and make words seven letters and longer.

I will check out Word Bird Supreme, 8dognight. I am also going to check out Letter Quest Remastered, which looks similar to Bookworm Adventures.

Ob, I had a Domini/Do game where there was a gamestopping glitch at the beginning of the bonus game which had been mentioned by others. It turned out that unless you did certain things initially in the exact same order as the walkthrough, you ended up with this glitch. I was able to start again and get through it. This may or may not be the same issue with the Mystery Tales game. Unfortunately I don't remember which game I was playing that had this problem, but I would recognize it if I saw the beginning of the bonus game again.

I played A King's Line earlier this year and enjoyed it.

I finished Delicious: Emily's Hopes and Fears CE a couple of days ago (a TM) and started another TM yesterday: Barbarous: Tavern of Emyr.

Marian, it was 3:19 am when I posted about that glitch. After going to bed I did wonder if I could restart the bonus chapter. I just did and I spent an hour getting back to that spot using the guide. (I really don't find the guides very user friendly.) Anyway, still had the glitch. Maybe it doesn't like if you "skip" mini games or something. I skipped in this replay but also skipped one or two in the original play as I was tired.

Now to start A King's Line. I don't know where the day went, as usual.

Over the years I’ve experienced that particular glitch in at least 4 Casuals and 2 Adventure games - which was very frustrating - but in games from BF I was always offered a different replacement game of my choice.
So some compensation at least yes

In the second Mystery Tales game (The Twilight World) I hit a glitch near the end of Chapter 4 (of how many? I don't know). I started the game over and still hit the glitch. That was in Win 10 but then, I tried it in Win 7 and no glitch.

Glitches are a mysterious thing at times. I had an Elephant game earlier this year where inventory items were disappearing when I reached a certain point in the game. It wasn't that far in, so I restarted and tried again. The same thing happened around the same place in the game. I restarted a third time and this time everything was fine and I finished the game. Weird, to say the least. The game was Detectives United: Beyond Time CE.

I agree with you, Mad. Big Fish has been very generous with compensation over the years and that certainly helps.
