Glad you finished the game Pib. i wiped out all the orcs in the village and got the scroll. I'm at lev 23 i love the polymorph skill! I morph those dudes, freeze 'em and then kill 'em. Much less work and injury to me.

When i killed 2 of the orcs something come up like "exp bomb" what is that?

Also still haven't found the dark potion yet

when you look at your potions, you don't have any bottles of a black potion yet? You can also buy it from the potion seller in Ays Mystica.

[add]It's called Shadows[/add] It makes you invisible for a time, but that time is very very short with minor shadows.

Oh yeah i do have it. I got a lot of good stuff from the orcs

I never used that spell, which means..when I play again I have another one to use I haven't tried.

I did that with scorpian traps. Didn't use them first time, the Threads played the game and loved that spell. So next time through I added that spell and oh boy did I have fun with it.

I'm back in Orc country, where I dropped several scorpians. There seems to be a lot of dead orc around.

Yep, they keep working while you're away..bless their little metal hearts.

You should be able to get more traps Pib..they do weigh a lot don't they?
Also the higher your level in this skill the fewer traps you'll have to use...put one down and about 5 will come out and oh boy are they eager to please..

Just popping in to say I love Scorpions--long may they live

Pib, in orc land they drop a lot of scorpian traps when they die I got at least 4. What worked for me was the polymorph spell. i'd change all of them into frogs and rabbits, then freeze them and kill them. It was really effective especially when there was a lot of them. Then i slept and got all my strength back.

Can someone tell me how to get past the poisonous corridor in Dr. Elrath's celler. I keep dying by stepping on traps.

exp bombs are excellent. But I tried polymorph and the little bunnies and froggies went green and ran away. So I left them. I like killing orcs much better.

I got by Dr Elrath's traps, but it may be that I have several points in Evade trap now. Run in and out then use heal spells till you stop losing points is the key I think. And be prepared, traps aren't the only thing protecting that cellar!

I never put any points in Evade Traps and did okay in the basement, use Restoration spell or health potions right after triggering a trap, wait, then creep forward to trigger the next one, and repeat.

That's what's really fantastic about a good rpg. There is no right or wrong way to do anything. It's how you want to play the character that counts. If you survive and go to the next stage, that was right for you.

My mage now has only a couple of fighter skills, and almost equal numbers of mage and survivor ones.

i did what Schwab35 did and it worked. Then using my favorite skill, i morphed that monster and killed him.

Right now I'm in the sewers below Ars magicana and, man there are a lot of things in here, potions, gold, weapons. i went up an entire lev in here. I went in to find Pedro which i did but when i clicked on him nothing happened. i couldn't kill him and he didn't move. Could this be a glitch?

I don't remember this quest since I'm getting old and all, but this is one of those deals where you have to follow the quest steps precisely to finish it.

You should be able to get a letter off of a dead Pedro..meaning you should be able to battle him..but if the quest isn't in your quest log, that be the reason..? I can remember the sewers I loved that place..have you seen the little fire lizzards?

I loved that area. I got so much good stuff there. Those lizards were so funny and fairly easy to kill. I did kill pedro (I morphed him) The problem was I had to go back to Tingalf and get him to talk about the cache. Then I went back and pedro attacked me. I think orginally I went in the sewer to early. I' went up a whole in the sewer to lev 24.

Me too Kim, that was more fun than sewers should be..those teen punks cracked me up..I guess dragon jackets and ciggies..what a riot..

Any idea how i can get into the alchemist's hatch to get the buad tea? I don't want to use skills points on lev 5 lockpick and i think i need the tea to kill the tree. Thanks
