Tally Ho, I am pretty sure that the hidden object scenes with the feature you describe are in at least one other of the Surface games, either the first one or second one or both. I remember liking this feature and wishing that it had been in more games.

Nice price for Shadows. wave12

Interesting feature on the HO scenes. I haven't played any of those Surface games yet but I have 8 of them already downloaded and installed on my Win 7 computer.

I also have Shadows from Steam but I bought it in 2015 and have just now finally played it. I hope you enjoy it, Tally Ho. Please come back and let us know your thoughts about it.

I'm playing Time Mysteries: Inheritance (Remastered) on Steam right now. I like that it is different but I'm not really loving it.

I think my next Match 3 will be Laruaville 1. First I'm trying to finish up a jigsaw puzzle from a free *limited time* pack though.

That's interesting. I was not aware that a Remastered version of Time Mysteries: Inheritance existed. I do have the un-remastered version in my Purchase History but haven't played it.

I'm still playing Crossroads: What Was Lost. It is a nice game. I was very glad to discover that there is an expedition room where you can go back and get puzzle pieces you have missed after having completed the game.

I haven't played any of the Crossroads games yet but that is good that you can go back for missed puzzle pieces.

I started Mystery Trackers: The Void tonight (first time playing). I am really liking it so far. I think the older games were a lot better than the newer ones.

I may go ahead and start Laruaville tonight also.

EDIT: Well, I started Laruaville and played 10 levels but then I could not find any way to exit the game. I used Alt F4. I hope my progress isn't lost. How do I get to the menu to exit the game? Do you know?

2nd EDIT: I see on Steam it says there is an "invisible button" in the upper right corner of the game. It looks like I'm okay. Whew!

Well, I was going to download Laruaville to explain how to exit, but I guess I don't need to now. I don't recall there being an "invisible button," but I have the Big Fish version of the game. Glad it's working okay for you now.

I have only played Mystery Trackers: The Void once after it was first released. I should replay it.

There was a time when HOPAs were undergoing a renaissance and many different developers jumped on the bandwagon to make them. That period probably has the best HOPAs of all, with a few exceptions.

I finished the Crossroads game and started Fear for Sale: The Dusk Wanderer CE yesterday.

Tally Ho, if you haven't played Mystery Trackers: The Void, I recommend it also (the CE version), however I played it in Windows 7 - can't confirm if it works in Windows 10 or 11. It is also a long and good game. I finished it tonight. Not sure what's next.

I am also playing Carol Reed: Dead Drop and am currently stuck, and I already purchased Twistingo: Hummingbird Haven even though I have not yet played any of the other three. I do like the way they look though.

Not sure yet what casual is up next.

I finished Fear for Sale: The Dusk Wanderer CE yesterday. While I like Elefun games, this one was not one of my favorites. There was nothing really wrong with it but nothing all that interesting about it either.

Not sure what's up next.

Ob, I don't have any of the Twistingo games but might get one of them in the future.

I decided on Fiction Fixers: Adventures in Wonderland, playing in Windows 7. It is better than I was expecting. I thought it would just be a series of HO scenes and no voice acting. Don't even know why I thought that but I was wrong on both counts.

So where has Tally Ho been, you might ask? After traipsing around Norrköping and helping Carol Reed, I got around to playing Shadows, Price for Our Sins. My first thought was 'no wonder it's a long game; everything freezes for 30 seconds after you click on anything.' Then I discovered the sluggishness was not the game's fault, it was my computer in the throes of disc failure. So . . . time to face the day. Bought a new computer with large solid state drives, lotsa memory, multiple cpu's good video etc, and spent the next few days getting that going. (Figuring out long-lost passwords was an adventure)

Eventually it was time to play Shadows.

Of course I had to re-do what I had already played, since there was no save game on the new machine. Finally finished it yesterday, and have to say really enjoyed it. It might not be a game for everyone; you have to really enjoy lots of difficult HO scenes, and care enough to follow the story. You've all heard me say that a good story matters to me, so that was good. Another good thing was something that most players either don't notice or just take for granted - the music was especially effective without being annoying. And yes, it really is a long game. Got my money's worth for sure.

Another side story: I installed VirtualBox, in order to create a WinXP or other system for the purpose of playing some of my old favorites that a new computer can't handle. And oops - discovered that my nice new computer has no DVD drive, so I have sent for an external one. Waiting for that.

Well, I did figure you were playing Carol Reed first. I'm glad you enjoyed Shadows: Price For Our Sins, though it was hard to go wrong for the price you paid for the game.

I guess getting a new computer is both a good and a bad thing. Bad that you were forced into it but good to get anyway. Does it have Windows 11? I've been playing a lot of older games on my Win 7 so am trying to remember to post that just in case the game in question doesn't work in a later system.

Did you see my post about Mystery Trackers: The Void?

I am between casual games at the moment but I'm still playing Carol Reed.

I am playing nothing at the moment. I was having a problem downloading a BF game so I decidedto uninstall the game manager. Well, I tried to install a new one but it won't install. I get a message that the app is corrupted and it won't finish. I contacted BF and they sent me another download link that doesn't work either! So I responded but haven't heard back yet. I sure hope that they can fix the problem!
I'm lost without my games! frown

Oldbroad - (I had to look) but yes. I played Mystery Trackers the Void 12 years ago! Long enough so it would seem fresh again. Thanks for the nudge.

I decided on Green Moon which I started and played for 2-1/2 hours but am still not sure about it being my kind of game. I'll play it through though for sure, IF I don't run into problems with the "arcade" games mentioned in the tutorial.

Green Moon is a game that I have been meaning to play for years but somehow have never gotten around to it.

I have been playing the Wedding Dash time management series in order, presently working on the second game in the series. These games were removed from the Big Fish catalog many years ago. They were some of the best TM games ever.

I have had Green Moon for 9 years and am just now playing it, in part because it is on the Gamehouse list of games that don't work in Win 10. I already had it installed in my Win 7 so figured now is the time, just in case. The last few games I played were on that list too. Meanwhile, my newer games will get old enough to not work anymore either.

After 2 days of trying to get some help I began to try different approaches to getting my game manager back. Well it took a lot of time. I tried so many downloads but kept getting the same message that the app was corrupt. I kept trying to install Around the World traveling to Canada hoping to get the latest version of the game manager. After many attempts I was about to give it up. Then I tried another game and it worked! I couldn't believe it! Finally!
I was going through my old game disks and found Mystery Case Files; Prime Suspects which isn't available anymore on BF so I am playing that oldie but goodie! I am back! happydance12

Good news, Marlene! smile

One thing, though: Big Fish still has Mystery Case Files: Prime Suspects here.

Well, you know what? It wasn't on my purchase list so I assumed it wasn't available on BF. I must have purchased it on another game site. But I did purchase the disk somewhere. It was a long time ago. Oh well...................... lol

So, the original game that was giving you a problem - that prompted you to uninstall the manager, does that game download now?
