Thanks!

I had found the one on the tracks side, but not the one on the street side.

I'm curious because I don't have the game, but I thought there was an in-game hint system?

Leanna - I found an object at Butter-Square. I think that's all there is to do there.

My goodness, don't be sorry, Leeana! I get hopelessly stuck in these games too! I was just curious if the hint system worked well or not. This is why we have this forum - so we can help each other get UNstuck!

Carol has gone home to get a battery, but she has looked in every room, and can't find one.
Time to leave her there, and go do something else. See ya tomorrow. wave

Edit: I just memembered where Carol keeps her batteries. (I even looked it up to see if that was a good idea; it isn't)

I have found a metal box in one of the bunkers but I don't know what to do with it. Also the notebook still is telling me to look in the bunkers. Am I supposed to find something else? duh

The hint system has always worked well for me - although I will say that it is also good to have patience and a decent sense of direction. wave12

For the first time in some years, I did not test the latest Carol Reed game.
A bit of an ad here sort of, tomorrow Saturday I will do a stream and after it's done it will go to youtube and hopefully help someone lol
It starts at 7 pm swedish time so that's 6 pm UTC. (link is below here)
Anyway, it will be interesting to not have played it beforehand but will be very fun as well for that same reason.
So I can't help anyone yet but as people have said, the hint system is awesome and I know I will use it a lot lol

I don't want to give anything away, but does anyone have a clue how to smooth a crumpled bit of paper? I'm at the Shooting Range and at a complete stop!

Here's what you need to do Dianne wave

Here are the directions to find what you are looking for.
1. From the entrance where your bike is walk to the 1st picnic table
2. follow the path from there to the 2nd picnic table
3, click once past the table and click left
4, Pick up the red package on the ground.
5. Open the package and a telephone number is in there. The notebook will then tell you to identify the number. dial the number on your cell phone and go on from there.

Hi Bristol, hopefully another player will be along to answer your question soon. And be sure to check Carol's notebook for hints. wave

When posting a question please state what the journal is saying where you are right now. It makes it much easier to determine what to do next.

All you have to do is open the pack of cigarettes.

There is an object on the ground, to the right of the gate.

What does the journal say exactly?

I don't think you have to do that. What does the journal say?

I'm not sure exactly what puzzle you are referring to, but I'll guess it's the one involving a shooting target. If you look at the target practice-figure in the small house at the shooting range, you will see that the numbers 3, 7, 8, and 1 are placed slightly higher than the rest.

No one answered my question so I will ask again.

I have found a metal box in one of the bunkers but I don't know what to do with it. Also the notebook still is telling me to look in the bunkers. Am I supposed to find something else? duh

Mikael answered you above, and asked you what it says in your journal/hints exactly.
