Hagatha, that definitely sounds like a relationship to back away from quickly!

It's warming up nicely, +6f today. I took a small pork loin roast out of the freezer & will cook that later today with some nice potatoes around the roast. Happy saturday everyone & keep warm.

Gerry, It always so nice to walk into the GB Break Room and smell that coffee!

Family who were visiting just headed back to the East Coast. It was a nice, short visit.

VERY cold start to the day with 5 degrees F. But after some yucky freezing rain tomorrow, we are supposed to be back into the 40's during the day. I'll take it!

Happy Sunday!

Good Morning Draclvr, judith, Connie, soot, hagatha, and everyone! wave Glad you enjoy the coffee Draclvr. I've got a fresh pot of Wide Awake dark brew ready and waiting. It is cold here this morning, but by Thursday we will be warming up above freezing! Looking forward to being able to get out and take a nice long walk at the end of the week.

Hope you all have a peaceful Monday! smile

Good morning. Ice, Ice, Baby! We've got lots of ice. It rained last night and because the ground is so cold from all the sub-zero temps, it is pure ice out there. Good day to grab some of Gerry's Wide Awake dark brew and settle in for some gaming today!

Happy Monday.

Good morning all.

We're back to balmy weather and the snow is gone.

I've got a few contractors arriving this week to install blinds, fix my new gate motors (!), which stopped working two days ago, and finish with hanging art and so on. I seem to be very tired all of a sudden. It doesn't help that Willow is now waking me up at 5:30, but even so, I feel drained.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Morning all and welcome to Tuesday in the break Room! wave As usually the dark brew Wide Awake Coffee is ready for sipping! yes

We actually had full sun yesterday morning so I was able to take a nice long walk in the sunshine for one hour and 45 minutes! It was glorious! The clouds moved in after lunch and later today we are expecting mixed precipitation...sleet, freezing rain, and snow. I hope to get a walk in before it starts.

Wishing you all a stress free day! smile

Good morning everyone. Gerry I welcome the dark brew wide awake coffee this Tootin Toosday! Good news that you were able to get out for an exercise walkabout! We've got rain in our forecast for the week which is good as we can always use the moisture and we don't have freezing temps as we're back to normal winter temps.

Have a wonderful Tootin Toosday everyone. wave

Good morning! Settling down with a cup of that coffee, Gerry! We are back above freezing and hopefully all the ice will be gone by the end of the day.

There are some epic videos out there - even about a dozen salt trucks in the ditch. This one of a fire truck sliding out of control went viral. It happened about 30 miles from me.

That sliding firetruck video is horrifying! It looks like they got through it without damage, though. Yikes. eek

I guess there was quite a bit of damage where it hit that blue car. It all started when another car hit a fire hydrant and a truck hit that car and another one!

Good Morning soot, Connie, Draclvr, Marian, hagatha and everyone. wave I'm glad you are enjoying the Wide Awake double dark brew soot and Draclvr.

We had 2 inches of snow overnight and as the temperatures rise today we are expecting heavy rain. All the snow should melt away. Roads are a bit icy right now... eek12

I'm working on a puzzle...tiny pieces are making it challenging! crazy I've been thinking of playing a game of Myst today...I haven't played it in years...have any of you revisited Myst? think

Enjoy your Hump Day! smile

Same weather here. Rain but plenty of snow on the ground. So kind of messy outdoors. I think I need some of that WADDB before venturing outdoors.

No Myst for me but I recently bought the Riven from GOG. Affordable and installs and runs fine on Windows 10.

Happy Wednesday!
