That's an interesting bit of Trivia, Fogfighter. It's been a long time since I read Frankenstein. I'm sure I have it on my Kindle somewhere.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Always nice to re-read good books smile

Meanwhile over here I'm reading about beekeeping. A paper book in the original Swedish language.

Paper books, whatever next! lol

I have considered keeping bees (as my grandfather did), but basically I am too lazy...

I have been reading some quite intriguing contact SF stories by Peter Cawdron, most recently Xenophobia https://www.goodreads.com/series/list/5252525.Peter_Cawdron.html

Very interesting, Fogfighter!

Oh, and Lex, another outlier here...I only read physical books. smile

I also read physical books. I have some free stuff downloaded on my free PC kindle but haven't checked to see if it even still works. smile

My wife Linda was originally very hostile to the idea of kindle, but went on to buy me one and then borrow it...! Now we both read mainly on kindle, but not other screens, and we much prefer the older models without backlit screens. catrub

I have been looking back over this thread and finding material I have yet to try: I also note that it has grown rather long, also that I was the one who started it (which I had forgotten), so I am starting a continuation thread. Please consider this one closed to new posts, but still well worth perusing. blackkitty
