Good Saturday morning! Breakfast has been served for the first shift - hubby and son. I'm sure granddaughter will be sleeping in.

Today is my other granddaughter's graduation party, so we are heading over there this afternoon. The Germans are going to meet us there. Marissa wanted her party catered by her favorite Mexican restaurant and DIL even rented a margarita maker! A good time should be had by all!

A nice toasty 92 degrees today - my tomatoes and peppers are very happy!

Hagatha, that sounds like something called cavitation or possibly air in your lines. Definitely a job for a plumber.

Once again, weeds are my life!

Happy Saturday everyone!

We're having a mixed bag of weather; rain, then sunny patches and then rain again. I'm actually cold in the morning these days; I have the heat turned off and there's a distinct chill in the air until about noon. Typical Juneuary weather here.

I was going to mow the lawn after it dries from the morning watering but now we're headed for rain. Ditto the last of the tiny cones; you can't blow them into neat little piles and scoop them up when they're wet.

I did have the landscapers mow and weed the long area outside my fence (it's a huge job because it's a very long fence, being a corner lot!) so my property looks nice and tidy now. I knew when I bought the place I'd need help with the garden. It's lovely, but it's a lot of work for one person. Fortunately once a month seems to be enough for the landscapers to come in and do the big stuff. Otherwise it's easy care since I have no flowers other than what's on the shrubs; I don't want to lure hummingbirds and butterflies in and then have Dude catch them.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good morning Fogfighter, Gerry, Hagatha, Draclvr and all other visitors. Panera Bread Mini Orange Scones, Chocolate Chipper Cookies, Bear Claws, Cinnamon rolls in the Break Room. Enjoy your sunny day Fogfighter. Gerry, the wide awake double dark brew is outstanding. Gerry their cinnamon rolls are also excellent, but it's hard to beat a cinnamon crunch or asiago bagel. Enjoy your company Draclvr. Hagatha, whew, it does sound like you have your work cut out for you with your lawn. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good Sunday morning! And Happy Father's Day to all dads here. My friend Andy celebrates as dad to several 4-legged "kids!"

Fogfighter, there is no better smell than new-mown hay! It should be bottled.

Graduation party yesterday was wonderful. Granddaughter was having an "after-party" for all her friends. My granddaughter who is visiting from Colorado is the same age and also graduated this year, so she decided to go back over and spend the night there. Haven't heard from her yet this morning, so I assume a good time was had by all!

I'm making pork steaks for my dads here - hubby and son. That's a treat for me!

More overcast skies and rain, and Willow has completely relapsed and is waking me up early, I think it's going to be a lazy day reading in front of the fire.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
