Yes, you have mentioned being really tired lately. Good idea to take a break and start again after some rest.

I have also been playing a match 3 game, The Enthralling Realms: The Blacksmith's Revenge, and I only have a few levels left of that.

Well, I made it through that puzzle and a few more tonight. The snow was still bothering me a little but I was able to ignore it and focus past it. I usually really like falling snow.

I downloaded The Adventures of Jason and the Argonauts (Match 3) a couple weeks back but still haven't started it. Every time I play a Match 3 (and also with the 2 Mosaic games I played) I end up not playing much of anything else, so I am hesitant to start it just yet. Probably soon though now that I finished one of my Adventures.

I tend to be the same way about match-3 games; once I start one, I usually play them through to the exclusion of other games.

I don't remember a Jason and the Argonauts game. Will investigate.

Ha-ha! It turns out I have The Adventures of Jason and the Argonauts. I had no recollection of this whatsoever! I haven't played it either.

I finished The Blacksmith's Revenge and have started Cursed Fates: The Headless Horseman. Really nice game so far.

I finished Grim Tales: The Bride last night. It was okay but somehow I was expecting it to be better. There was one puzzle that I spent about 3 hours on over the course of 3 days and I was just about to give up when I got it. Whew!

Tonight I started Mystery Murders: The Sleeping Palace. It is going okay so far except that when I am in close up and need an inventory item, it keeps closing the close up when I try to grab the needed item. Grr.

I have never played the first Grim Tales game. I have played Grim Tales: The Legacy, one of the earlier games, and did enjoy that one.

And I picked up The Sleeping Palace a few years ago but haven't played it yet. I think someone here might have recommended it, but I could be wrong about that.

The Sleeping Palace was okay except for the aforementioned close ups closing up, and the inventory going all the way to the left every time you moved so you have to keep clicking all the way back to the right, and the cursor which has some little gear like things that makes you think you need to do something but you don't. Those three things made me not enjoy the game too much.

Tonight I started a replay of Cruel Games: Red Riding Hood.

Thanks for letting us know about Sleeping Palace. It doesn't sound all that great, but I will still play it at some point.

I have played Cruel Games: Red Riding Hood and remember that I liked it. That is about all that I remember, though!

That is really all I remembered about Red Riding Hood also, Marian, and I haven't played too much yet, but I already did hit a spot where I said "oh, I remember this" - so far just the location, not the gaming. I really don't replay too many casual games but some of them do stand out. I think I'm going to enjoy this one again. I first played it in 2020 on my Win 7 from the disc which was still installed and that's what/where I'm playing.

Did you finish The Headless Horseman?

I haven't finished Headless Horseman yet. Got sidetracked playing adventure games but will go back to it when I am done.

I finished Red Riding Hood up a few nights ago. Unfortunately, I had to skip a puzzle right near the end of the game where you were supposed to categorize some books, but even though I googled all the stories, I couldn't figure it out.

Now I'm playing Halloween Chronicles: Behind the Door. It's sort of weird and the little icons that are supposed to let you know that you can find a collectible in a screen, don't work.

I have played at least part of that Halloween Chronicles game and don't remember those icons not working, but it is possible that I never looked at that.

I think there is going to be at least one Domini game this month for Halloween. That is what I heard, anyway.

I have started Darkness and Flame: The Dark Side.

I think the icons worked at the very beginning but the I noticed that I was finding things without the icon showing them. I suppose I'll miss most of them now, not that it really matters. I'm still not buying Domini/DO games. This one is one of 13 that I still have to play on my Windows 7. Well, 10 on Win 7; 3 of them work on Win 10.

I have not started the Darkness and Flame series yet. I hope you enjoy the game!

Thanks, ob! I have enjoyed the other games that I have played in this series, so it's likely that I will.

I keep hoping that your Domini issues will go away at some point - either a change in their programming, or a change in your video card/drivers, etc. Not sure what the culprit is, but maybe someday.

I was enjoying Darkness and Flame: The Dark Side. However, about halfway through the main game it started to seem awfully familiar to me. Being as this feeling persisted, I consulted my list of games that I have played in the last four years, and sure enough this game was on it. Not sure I ever had that happen before, where I did not remember I had already played the game. I was enjoying the replay but decided to move on.

So, I will be installing the last in the Darkness and Flame series soon. Meanwhile I started Cursed House 5 and I am on level 27. Very enjoyable so far.

LOL. I would have went ahead and finished it if I was halfway through and enjoying it. I installed Spooky Bonus thinking I will play it but haven't started it yet. We'll see. I am halfway through the bonus chapter of Behind the Door. Not sure what's next but I think I will try to play Halloween Stories: Defying Death in the near future; just probably not next though.

I have played and finished Spooky Bonus before. I enjoyed it.

And you are right: maybe I should just finish the Darkness and Flame game anyway. It was the thought of all of the unplayed games that stopped me!

I made the mistake of starting a Match 3 game (Spooky Bonus) AND a Mosaics game (Time Twins: Haunted Images). I have a question regarding a "bonus" game in Time Twins if somebody can help me. They call the game "Edges" but I couldn't find a screen shot and Google does not bring this game up. There is some other game that is not this.

There is a square grid except the corners are cut off. The two outer rings of the square have different colored cells and there are some colored cells inside the square. You only can move cells from the inner of the two rings. The outer ring just shows you what color will come up next. When you move a cell it will go until it hits another colored cell. If there are none in the center area to stop it, it will go to the opposite edge but once there are 3 colored cells on the edge, you can no longer move one (unless you can make a match to remove and bring it back to 2 cells on the edge). You are trying to make matches of at least 3, then they go off the board. The 2 outer cells don't count as part of a "match".

I know I'm probably not explaining this very well which is why I tried to find a screenshot or see it in a video. Anyway, if you can understand what I'm talking about, my question is just this: Is there some way to actually win this game? I know I can lose by running out of matches to make but I don't know how you would win it. Do the colored cells eventually stop appearing or is there some top score or what? The tutorial doesn't really say. I played it 6 or 7 times and was finally getting the hang of it but then I made a stupid mistake. My score was just over 300. I don't know if that is good or bad but I was told "you lose".

Edit: Hmm. Or maybe you fill in all the cells to complete the square.

I hope you can find some help with this, ob. I am not familiar with the mosaics game so don't have an answer for you.

I finished Cursed House 5 yesterday, all 115 levels of it. Very much enjoyed it overall.

Not sure what's next.

I have been playing 12 Labours of Hercules III: Girl Power. Lots of fun so far.

I started Halloween Stories: Defying Death last night. It's pretty good so far!

I also installed Evil Pumpkin: The Lost Halloween on my Win 10 computer. I played the game 9 years ago and it took close to 37 hours according to Steam. I am thinking about replaying it. I seem to remember that I quite liked it and would like to find out why, since I don't really remember much about it. We'll see.

I am on the last level of Spooky Bonus. I am (of course) playing in timed mode. Up until now it has gone quite smoothly. I did have to repeat several levels but I didn't need power ups too often. This last level though, is a killer. I don't know if I will be able to get it in timed mode or not. There is just not enough time for all that you have to do. I don't know if I can change to un-timed mode for just this level or not. I may have to check that out.

Twin Mosaics: Haunted Images is going fairly well. I restarted a couple of levels due to making stupid mistakes and wanting to get 3 stars. One level though, I settled for 2 stars. It was a level that made me take a guess at something and I guessed wrong. Maybe I should have tried a hint instead.

I can't remember if I played Spooky Bonus in timed mode as it's been too long ago since I played. I have played Defying Death and liked the game. I don't have Evil Pumpkin, although I have heard good things about it. Thank you for reminding me because I have always been kind of interested in it.

I am on about the last ten levels or so of 12 Labours of Hercules III. Very enjoyable.

Well, I guess I was just too tired last night. I managed to finish up Spooky Bonus on the first try today.

Will definitely take some getting used to .... so could last a long time lol
