Succession!! What a great show. One of my top favorites. It's fun to see Matthew MacFayden play such a different role from his brooding Mr. Darcy and his anguished Tom Quinn from MI5 (aka Spooks). He's hilariously unstable.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Space Quest I read the book A Gentleman in Moscow and hope to get to see the series. Gerry Gerry I finished A Gentleman in Moscow and I absolutely loved it.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

I'm rewatching Season 1 of Outer Range and then I'll be on to Season 2, which dropped this week. I really like it. It's got a great cast and a good sci-fi mystery.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

This may be old news, but I just discovered that all 9 of the Jesse Stone movies starring Tom Selleck are now on Prime Video.
There is some continuity to the story line, so if you're going to watch them all, you should do it in the correct order.
Here's the list in the order that they were released,
1. Jesse Stone: Stone Cold – February, 2005 2. Jesse Stone: Night Passage – January, 2006 3. Jesse Stone: Death in Paradise – April, 2006 4. Jesse Stone: Sea Change – May, 2007 5. Jesse Stone: Thin Ice – March, 2009 6. Jesse Stone: No Remorse – May, 2010 7. Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost – May, 2011 8. Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt – May, 2012 9. Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise – October, 2015
however, the 2nd one, Night Passage, was a prequel to Stone Cold, so if you want to follow the story line chronology, then you should watch Night Passage first, and then all the rest in release date order.
I've finished 7 of them so far, and have enjoyed all of them very much.

I'm rewatching Season 1 of House of the Dragon so that I can fully appreciate Season 2.
I finished Succession the other day. I found it so intense I had a break and watched a couple of other shows before coming back to it. What an incredible ride, and that finale was devastating. It easily makes its way into my top 20 shows of all time.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I've just started The Americans. I'd been told it's good, so I'll power my way through the first episode or two. I'm not thrilled right away but it may be one of those shows that needs to find its bearings.
Soot, Outer Range got cancelled. I thought it was wonderful, but science fiction never seems to do very well on streaming services. It's very annoying.
EDIT: I'm still not sold on The Americans. It's basically a soap opera with spies. Not sure why it got such great reviews. I'll give it one more night, and then it's curtains if it doesn't get any better.

Currently juggling Yellowstone and 3 Body Problem, but looking for a new addiction (perhaps going back to Dark Matter)...

Hagatha, we were enjoying Outer Range season 1 and then stopped watching once we heard the series was canceled. Don't enjoy a series that leaves the story hanging or pushes the plot off a cliff due to funding pulled or management decision. Oh well... After all, tomorrow is another day!

I'm half way through the 2nd season of The Wire. It's the first time re-watching it since it first came out over 20 years ago. One of the best series ever made.
The Wire was excellent. I especially loved the first two seasons.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

The Wire was the show that got us watching TV again -- except that we watched it by buying DVD's of shows. I read a Guardian article listing the Guardian's top 50 shows of all time, and The Wire and the Sopranos were at the top. This was, of course, about 12 years ago. Buffy was on it, too.
One recalls the unforgettable episode of the Wire in which there is an entire scene where one word is spoken...over and over.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

We originally signed up for Apple TV + for Slow Horses but then found For All Mankind which remains possibly our all-time favourite TV series, and there are a couple of new offerings I want to try when we get to the end of Yellowstone (at which point I will swap subscription from Paramount +}. I think Slow Horses is a great reflection of Mick Herron's entertaining yarns, but on the whole, spy stories do not really do it for me. Meanwhile I am rather enjoying a bit of fairly lightweight but entertaining Canadian tosh with themes from Back to the Future and a slight shade of Terminator on Amazon Prime: Contnuum https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1954347/
