Good Wednesday morning! OMG! The wind isn't blowing!!!
Yeah, it kind of depends on the size of your septic tank and how many people are on it. Here we estimate in the Clean Water Regulations that each person uses roughly 75 gallons per day which includes showers, toilets, washing machine, dishwasher etc. Most have a drain field, but eventually the solids are going to build up and then it costs more to have it pumped out. Not pumping can also cause your drain field to get clogged up with solids and THAT is expensive to remedy. So, 3 to 5 years depending on the tank and number of people is recommended here.
Such a lovely conversation over my WADDB this morning! When I was working and we were all in the break room for lunch, we would be talking about our grossest inspections!
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

Yes, I can imagine the conversations!
It turned out my tire had a nail in it, so that's done. I had a couple of hours to kill while my car and tire were services, to I walked over to Best Buy and bought a replacement for my OLED TV that got broken in the move, and set up the Geek Squad install. That's another item off my to-do list, which is finally getting shorter.
It's a rainy day here, which is perfect since I've planted some Creeping Thyme and a couple of plants in pots.
The cats have a new nemesis -- the sprinkler system. They both got caught in it early one morning and it scared the heck out of them.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

New day, without snow or hail, so far. No thunder either, come to think of it. Is still chilly but the birds are singing out there. I'll make a pot of SomewhatDarkWakeUpBrew for emergency use until the the real stuff arrives. Happy Thursday Gameboomers

Good Thursday morning! Chilly, sunny and WINDY again today.
I've been painting wood screen doors the last two days. Have some touch up in the corners to do after they are hung back up, but man, I'm glad to have that done! All that bending over does not make my back happy.
Last night of league bowling tonight. This is money night. Our team finished tied for 4th place.
Sitting here watching a mouse run along the countertop in the kitchen... we have a trap set with peanut butter, but my cats are really falling down on the job!
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

It's a rainy day here. I was hoping for a day of gaming but it looks like the laptop needs to be sent off for warranty repairs. I made sure I had all my important stuff backed up last night so I'll be working on my old Dell laptop for a while. On a good day that computer can run Oblivion.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

T.G.I.F. good morning Gerry, Fogfighter, Connie, Marian, Hagatha, Draclvr and everyone else who gets the chance to pop in for Gerry's DDWAB and Connie's DDBs. Enjoy your walks this weekend Gerry. How did bowling go last night Draclvr? It's not as cold here Fogfighter and know you'll enjoy next week's weather. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good Friday morning! VERY chilly and of course, WINDY! I'm so sick of it!
I placed 5th in the sweepstakes last night - you basically bowl against yourself. So with our team standings and my 5th place, it was a nice little $200 night for me! But I'm very glad League bowling is over for the year. We'll start back up in August.
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

We're also facing rain and wind here. It's going to be a nasty week. By the time the rain stops my grass is going to be pretty long.
My garden is just stuffed with birds and the bird song is wonderful. They come down to the little stream feature and splash around. Fortunately the cats won't go near the water, so it's relatively safe for the birds. I have some planting to do when the rain finally stops. I'm especially keen to find a sunny spot for the native currant plant cutting my neighbour gave me; it's the first plant that flowers in the spring and the hummingbirds love it.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
