We watched Continuum years ago but the last season never made it to streaming so we gave up on it.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Okay, I have to say Slow Horses is wonderful, but even better, it has the best theme song ever.!
EDIT: I finished all three available seasons of Slow Horses and am now watching SILO. I read the books a long time ago, but I remember the gist of it all. It's pretty good.

I am well into Continuum, deeper and darker than I expected, but none the worse for that! Next time we sign up to Apple TV + I may try a bigger slice of Slow Horses.

Lex, Gary Oldman is priceless in Slow Horses. I'm now eagerly awaiting Season 4.
Silo is also good, but there are a couple of plot holes that I hope are explained in Season 2.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I'm only on episode 8 of season 2 of Continuum I have a way to go yet, Gerry, but obviously Alex is quite a pivotal character and I sense that as matters progress Kiera may question whether she was really on the side of the angels in 2077; there is also considerable potential in what happens as characters from the future overlap with their younger selves... one way and another, a very interesting and thought-provoking set-up! Afterword: I had a look at some of the reviews, and it seems that although the show had quite a good fan base it was not popular enough with a mainstream audience, so after three series it was cancelled but with a fourth series to tie up the storylines. This could make the final series less than fully satisfying, but even if that does turn out to be the case it is still a fun ride.

Continuum I did enjoy but its been a while since I watched it. Am currently enjoying The Responder, a British police drama. Martin Freeman has never been less hobbitty

We found The Responder too much of the bleak underbelly of England to be entertaining, but I know it was highly regarded: definitely a long way from the Shire! There was a quite impressive thriller series on BBC called Sherwood a couple of years ago and a second season/series of that has just started; the tale is based around north of England coal mine closure issues with some basis in historical fact https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13994572/

Finished Responder this morning and I certainly understand where Lex is coming from. I do like though "underbellies" and find their gritty realism is what draws me in. What I liked here on top of that was the very human nature of the characters and their circumstances. I felt that I understood how they got here, regardless of whether I sympathised or not. Quality writing and acting.

I think I'll dive into Rings of Power until Slow Horses 4 arrives. The producers are hinting they would like to do all 9 books in the series, and I'm absolutely up for that!
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I think we'll wait for all Season 2 Rings of Power episodes to release before we start watching it.
Season 1 was very good!

I've watched the first three episodes of season 2 of The Rings of Power and this season seems to be darker than season one so far.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.
