I'm nearly at the end of the bonus game of my second Dark Canvas now and have enjoyed both. [Maybe A Murder Exposed a little more than Blood and Stone.] But I think I will go ahead and get the one in the series that I haven't yet got .... Dark Canvas A Brush With Death CE .... in the hopes it will be as good as the other two

I don't know if the sale icon on the homepage is picky or what. Sometimes I see it and sometimes not, or maybe all the time but later than you might see it.
Well, fortunately, the game started me up right back at the puzzle I was stuck in, heh, heh. I managed to figure it out during commercials while I was watching something on tv.

I finished Cursed Fates: The Headless Horseman tonight. Didn't remember much of it at all, so glad I replayed it. There were quite a bit of HO scenes and I usually couldn't find one thing, of course. No hints were used there but I did consult the guide twice and both times it just turned out to be something I did not see (as usual). I didn't find all of the horseshoes but that was okay.
I then uninstalled Mystery in London: On the Trail of Jack the Ripper and tried to reinstall it (in my Windows 7) but it would not install. Even though it is a disc it needed to access Big Fish and the internet and that computer is not online anymore. (I think the reason it didn't work might be because I have a different sign in on my game manager than what it would have been when I originally installed the game. Not sure if that makes sense or not since you don't have to be signed in on it at all. Not being online now I can't sign out either.) It did, however, install in my Windows 10 so I ended up starting it just to see if it works and it does.
You can play in timed mode or relaxed mode. I chose timed but I'm not sure that was a wise decision. I have to use the magnifier and still don't sometimes know what I'm looking for, such as "a famous author". A name I might be able to find but this turned out to be a picture of Robert Louis Stevenson. Sorry, but I don't know what he looks like (and I didn't put the clue together that he was the "famous author" I was looking for - duh). I ended up using a hint after clicking a couple of wrong things which makes you lose time and my time was running short. Then there was a word search puzzle that shows you pictures of what words you need to find which might also be confusing, like is it a rabbit or a bunny, and maybe you won't know what the picture is at all. I did not complete that puzzle in the time given and had to replay it. The pictures changed and so did the letters layout, but I did get it the second time.

I never opt for “timed” versions of puzzles these days. Can’t be bothered …. in Casuals OR Adventures. They just spoil the games for me. But good on you for doing so, oldbroad (I can only assume it is one of the features of my very advancing years !! )

So we like “oppsite” playing modes !! I enjoy relaxed matching/finding and then moving on to the all important (for me) storyline 😬
