I am in Tambo 2 and need to cut the grass. I thought I did this earlier but it is still saying that I need to do it. I finally looked at a hint which asked if I had brought a knife. I do not have a knife and don't know where to get it?

I know BeaSong was on already and her name was still showing at the bottom so I thought I'd try to catch her. I should have posted last night but thought I'd try one more time by myself or just try another in-game hint. I don't know how often she checks here.

She will probably see this, but you can always send her a PM if need be to let her know you have posted a question.

Hey there! if you turn right at the entrance to the bridge, the path will take you to a place that has the knife at the bottom of a tree.
Good luck.
I'm so happy that you are trying out the game.

Meanwhile, I'll keep a closer eye on here if you get stuck. 💕

Thanks BeaSong, but there is no knife there. I'm almost sure I cut the grass earlier and gave it to somebody? Still stuck.

Ana, wave .

I probably should add that I am also stuck at the water where the Lapis Lazuli is. I cannot do anything at all there either.

My inventory consists of a rock and a branch. Nothing else to find anywhere?

Oh, No Knife? Hmm. No way to cut the grass without it. I think maybe what looks like a branch is the knife.
And the grass goes on the bridge.
Are you playing on the Windows version on Mac or iPad ?

Did you click on the big rock and place it in the river so you could reach the Lapis stone?

Okay, BeaSong. Even though it said I need to cut the grass, I had already done that. It was the Lapiz Lazuli holding me up. I guess I had not tried the rock in the right spot in the river. This time it worked and I attached the Lapis Lazuli to the branch that was in my inventory, used it, and have now passed into Tambo 3.

I am playing on Windows from Steam.

Please keep checking back now and then.

There is a lot of clicking around but it is a nice, peaceful game with different and interesting locations.

Hi BeaSong, we do not allow postings of email addresses in the forum due to the possibility of spammers and other undesirables using it, so I have removed it from your post.

If you could send the email address you posted via private message to oldbroad, that would be great. smile

BeaSong, no. Just click on oldbroad's name and select "Send Private Message." When you send a private message it is not visible in the public forums. Believe it or not, there are stalkers and scammers on this page now and then! We just want to keep everyone safe!

Oldbroad, as BeaSong says, it appears that your PMs are over the limit. Maybe time to do some pruning of old PMs! I had to do it a few months ago too.

I am at my quota now and will clean that up soon, however, I did receive your email address that you PM'd yesterday. Did you try to send another?

Okay, made some space.

Oh, great! I just wanted to make sure you had access to get help if you need it and I didn't know how this worked to get a note to you. Now I think I do. Did you find all of the gold in the first Tambo? If not, that would explain the extra stone that is still in the inventory if you still have it. The stone was to break the pot in the first scene.

BeaSong, I did reply to your PM yesterday. Have you noticed that the envelope next to your name at the upper right of the screen is blinking? That is telling you that you have a message. I know you mentioned not being used to using the PM.

Yes, I did find all the gold in the first and second Tambos. I did not get to play today but I am currently at the point in Tambo 3 where I am trying to build a rock pile (not sure what it might be called). I think I am missing a rock for it but want to get back in the game and look around again before deciding if I need help with it. That "extra" stone that had been in my inventory was the one to put in the river to get to the Lapiz Lazuli, remember?

Oh! I didn't know about the blinky thing. Thanx! Oh, the stones for the cairn pile are at the entrance of the maze and if you tap on them, you will see them recorded in the journal so you can see if you have them all and how to stack them. And in that scene it's a bit sneaky because you are encouraged to leave before going LEFT to find more gold. I love that scene because I remember taking the photo of that fountain in Perú. So fun! P.S. don't worry about not playing off and on. Besides, it's football season. 😆

I found what I needed and continued into Tambo 4 BUT I did miss one piece of gold even though I went back over everywhere a few times. I know I can go back into Tambo 3 but will I be able to collect the last piece of gold from there if I ever find it? I don't want to spend time looking anymore unless I'll be able to take it. I had missed sending it in Tambo 1 but was able to go back and get all of it sent even after starting Tambo 2.

Well if you've made it to Tambo 4, your observation skills must be GOOD! YAY!!! You can use the Map icon to jump back to take a look, but I think it would be more fun just to keep going to finish the game since each tambo is so different and then after a time play it again on another level. I've played it hundreds of times and still have to go back to get things I've missed.

I guess I'm in need of help again. I'm at the puzzle in Tambo 5 where the hints tell me this:

The heat must rise high enough to melt the ore before the flux is added

and

Then the mold must be cooled

I think I used a reed here and now I am stuck. I have a crucible. I have the flux and the mold. I can't seem to use anything anywhere though.
