Good Wednesday morning! Nice and cool this morning, but heading for 90 degrees this afternoon.

We need to start watering again - there is no rain in sight. So, I'll be dragging hoses around today.

Hubby just headed out to get his new COVID booster. I have mine scheduled for next week. Will get our flu shots a couple of weeks later.

Gerry, I don't have to go back to the dentist until my next cleaning! Woot! I woke up around 2:30 am last night and it looked like broad daylight out there!

I must have looked out during the eclipse because I was seeing a lot of darkness.

While I can look through the pictures at the top of the screen, I am not on FB and cannot see the eclipse pic.

Good afternoon everyone.

Had a cranky morning with no nice dark coffee, thanks to a fasting-required blood test. However, once I got to the lab everything went quickly. Hopefully nothing is too far off. I have been feeling not quite right for the last little while, so I probably have some deficiencies. I always seem to be low on potassium, Vitamin D and Vitamin B12.

Thanks Ana. Yes, I can see the photo there. I couldn't see the moon last night at all, just a dark sky. I always see it, so that was weird. Of course, I'm not seeing it now either so maybe it has already moved off the path of my view. I did see it big and clear two nights ago though.

Ana I checked out your photo of the eclipse nice! I only saw the full moon...if I had know there would be an eclipse I would have watched for it as I was awake most of the night. Draclvr glad you don't have to go back to the dentist...I'm not so lucky...need to have a filling repaired. Hagatha hope all is well with you and you are feeling better...blood work good?

It's another cool morning. I even had the heat on for an hour. Today I get the stitches out of my mouth and then I guess I'll mow the lawn. Nothing much happening around here otherwise.

Glad you all were able to see the eclipse photo. There were lots of Northern light displays this week too!

I got to see just a hint of those Northern Lights! I have an app on my phone that gives something called the KP index and the chance of seeing them in your area.

I have the App called Aurora and it alerts me as well. I'm also a member of a FaceBook group to follow the activity. It's a great tool!

Over here 21 degrees and sunshine. Unusually warm for the season.
No good view of any northern lights unfortunately. Stockholm is suffering from a severe case of light pollution when it comes to enjoying the night sky. The best we can enjoy are blood moons and the rare eclipses

I installed the 'Aurora' app and will be on the watch for the next event. Had a magnificant view of moon rise last night just as it came up over the horizon. Enjoying wide awake double dark brew and bagels before heading off for a grocery run this morning.

It's kind of odd to be sitting here with my WADDB with no hummingbirds chittering outside my window. We do have several juvenile cardinals who sit out there chirping and quivering to be fed! A couple have been booted out of being fed by the parents and come to the feeder alone. They are the scraggliest things you've ever seen! I laugh at them.

Will be heading out to pick tomatoes and peppers shortly. The Colorado grandkids are loving their hot sauces!

Happy Friday all! Today is grocery list making day. I can only think of one thing to put on the list. Other than that, nothing going on with me.

This weekend is Chicagohenge. Ana, will you be getting any pictures of that?

I had to google that oldbroad, never having seen the expression previously: interesting!
