I have in my inventory:

The blue flux in a bowl that looks like it has a snake wrapped around it, a bag, a reed (although I know I used a reed already), a blue stone that looks like an apostrophe mark, a sun bracelet (even though I used this before also), the crucible which looks like it has something glowing in it but it doesn't say that it does, the mold, a fish hook, a sling shot, an axe, and one gem.

The smelting pot smoke is way up to the ceiling. I cannot put the crucible on it. I cannot put the flux in the crucible. I cannot put the mold on the floor. I cannot combine anything in the inventory bag to anything else. I have nothing that will go into the water. I can go past this puzzle and outside to where a person is sitting on the wall but I have nothing to give to that person.

Ah, OK, let's see. Looks like you got past the smelting scene. The blue stone that looks like a question mark is for one of the women after you get out. If you used the disc to escape then it should be gone, same as the reed that you tapped 3x to get the flame up to the top. Sounds like the gold is already in the crucible and needs to be placed above the smelting pot and then while it's there, add the flux (which sounds like you have collected into the mortar) on top. No? doesn't work? If you still have those things, they are waiting to be used, so sounds like a matter of what comes first and next. I'm surprised that you got outside without getting the tupu. I'll have to check that out. The first woman you come to gets the tupu, then the other two womem get the gems. Thank you for not getting mad at me for not being able to figure this out. I may have to make an update to this scene. Are you able to place the mold onto the floor?

Ah, Ok, I understand. But you don't have the reed anymore, right? and you picked up the flux with the mortar (the bowl with the snake)
right? and you have the gold ore in the crucible, yes?. So, the crucible should go above the smelting pot next. Then after it is there, the flux is placed on top of that. and that should give you a crucible with the melted ore in it. That's when the mold can be placed on the floor and the crucible taps onto the mold. Does any of that work?

Dern! How frustrating! I have made a walkthru for Tambo 5 for you to trace your steps but think I should send it in a PM. What do you think? I'm not sure how the PM works. That is, how to get back to it once I send it. Does that make sense.? I tapped your name and chose private message. I hope you got it. If so, I'll put the walk thru there. We gotta get you outta that mine!!!!

I received it. I'll look at it but I cannot really remember each step I took and everything I clicked. Is there any way to restart the chapter in easy mode again? I believe it gives you an option to play in a different mode but I don't want a harder one. This is why manual saves are so desirable.

With the PM, you just go back into the one you sent.

All of that had been done, BeaSong. The puzzle just wasn't working for some reason. I have now skipped the puzzle but I only have one gem for one woman. I think I see the other gem but I cannot pick it up. Is it in the room just after the smelting room on the right side? If so, I cannot pick it up.

BeaSong, to read PMs you have sent, just click on the Messages icon on the upper right. It is the little envelope to the left of your name.

Well, somehow using that blue apostrophe shaped stone got me into Tambo 6 so I'll see how it goes.

Well, I am stuck yet again. At the huge rock that has animals on it, I am missing the bottom middle animal.

It's a small black ceramic llama at the base of a tree. You come to it after you give the fish to the bear to get the quipu and continue your journey past the puzzle of the river. If you tap the footprint icon it will show you the path that goes past the puzzle. And, you can get back to the big stone with the map.

BTW, when you get to Tambo 8, it might be a good idea to make a map of your own to help figure out where certain people are who want you to bring them things and be sure to use the Print icon for paths that aren't so obvious. I hope you find the "Easter Egg". There are some things mentioned to collect but you don't have to give them all to the people that ask just a couple of them. I wanted to shorted the tasks. But you will need to collect them in order to enter the puzzle at the end where there are 4 women. And the puzzle has to do with what happens to the herbs to create colors and the clues you tapped are in the journal. The rest of the tambos will be a breeze after that.

I was afraid you might say something about the bear and the fish. I haven't figured that part out yet either. blush

Oh! That's a tough one. You need to use the axe you brought from the mine to chop the branch on the tree then join it with the hook and bait. Then the fish will end up in the bag

I've been around a few times trying to find something to chop but I'll check it out again tomorrow and let you know if I still need help.

Thanks, BeaSong!

The branch is in the scene with the fishpond. You're welcome. HAPPY to help! You are kind of acting like a beta tester for me that may cause me to make some game changes. So I will gift you with a table game that has elements of this game if we get that far. We have the table game ready to publish, but are waiting to start marketing this game more widely first. Thank you for such good help and sticking to it. I'm impressed that you are this far already. I think I would have been too frustrated with Tambo 5 and I worry about Tambo 8. My favorites are 9 and 15. I'll be interested to know what you have to say at the end. My close friends are not gamers, so aren't so helpful. 🤣

I just found the stick (wanted to look around again Before reading your post). I don't know how I missed it before. So, I will see how much further along I can get. I'm already thinking that I may try to replay the game soon after I finish it this time because it is a little hard to enjoy when I am stuck every step of the way. I'd like to maybe be able to *flow* through the game a little more easily so I can appreciate it better. I do really like it actually, but there is really a lot of miscellaneous clicking around while trying to find my way.

I guess I need help again. I'm in Tambo 8 trying to dye stuff? I don't know what is expected of me. I have everything. The puzzle blinks around the edges which I'm assuming confirms I'm ready for it but nothing happens when I click on anything. Not sure what it wants me to do.

WOW! That's amazing! Tap on the blinky puzzle and you're DONE!. WOW! The journal should have the ropes to show you which knots go where. Oh, Click on the left herb, then on the right knot, then on the string to place it. Once all knots are in place on a string it will bling for that color. Just curious, did you tap the flute player?

Oh darn! I somehow lost my post before I hit the "post reply" button and don't remember how to get back to it.

Yes, I tapped the flute player more than once since I didn't know if more was to happen (besides what she told me).

I have been trying the herbs and knots and ropes but I must be doing something wrong (like wrong order of something maybe) as nothing has happened. I will try again now that you have confirmed that is what I'm supposed to be doing and I know there will be some reaction confirmation when I get it right, and I will post back later.

Thanks.

For the first string Red, Tap the top/left (cactus) which needs to be ground so tap the #2 knot, then #3 knot which is the sulfur pulp, then #5 knot to boil, then tap the Red string to get the "bling" for all the knots in the right place.
