Good morning everyone. Knäckebröd for emergency use available in the break room. Just add WADDB.

Mrs Sun and Mr Sunshine finally arrived. 12 Celsius and calm over here.
Good to hear Connie weathered the storm. I hope the others are OK too

Happy Friday GameBoomers

Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. Putting things back in place After the storm. We still have power, loaned our generator to a friend that doesn't. We are opening the Eagles early so those without power have a place to come. Enjoy the day and hug someone. hug hearts

Good Friday afternoon! Lots to do, so didn't even make the break room yesterday. I did, however, at least make sure Connie and Orion were safe and sound. Three buckets of tomatoes so far and I just came in to get another bucket.

Made a bright yellow hot sauce with the Fatalii peppers day before yesterday. It has pears, juice of a lemon and lemon grass in it. Lemon grass isn't readily available around here, so I used a lemon grass paste I got from Amazon. Jeepers, this stuff if HOT! I don't eat anything that hot, but a nephew and a former co-worker do! Even though I used gloves, my hands burned for 2 days! It sure is pretty though!

There is nothing like fresh garden tomatoes Drac. So good. You are lucky I am not your neighbor. Your intake would be cut in half smile

Edit: That must be one heck of a garden you have

Orion, I give them away left and right! We actually have two huge gardens roughly 30 x 50 each. But we live out in the country, so have plenty of room.

WOW! That's really cool Drac. Like I said there is nothing like fresh garden veggy's. It must be nice. I am really tired of this store bought garbage. We have a few roadsides we hit knowing they are garden fresh

I get the "weeds are my life!"

Good morning everyone.

I read about the northern lights and would have watched. Alas Mr Rain disturbed the party. Now he's gone and Mrs Sun is shining.
Chilly autumn day. 5 degrees outdoors but I'm inside making brunch.

The WADDB tastes great as always. I'll throw in some emergency use knäckebröd in the break room.

Happy Saturday GameBoomers.

Good morning and welcome to the weekend! It's a working weekend for me from 7am-9:30pm taking care of dogs left in their homes while the owners are away, 2 dogs boarding with me, my own pup and an inbox full of game news to sort through for steams NextFest. Doesn't feel much like a weekend. Business has been very busy.

Connie and Orion, I am glad you are safe from the storms. I did check in like I always do, just don't have time to chat most days.

Gerry, I did see the Auroras the other night and they were wonderful. It's been a treat to see this year!

fogfighter, sorry the rain ruined your view. frown

soot, have a great day!

SpaceQ, so good to see you on the board! Hope you are well!

Drac, I can't believe I'm still getting red peppers and a few tomatoes on my plants still as well!

Have to head out the door, my 3 dogs are fed and now off to walk and feed those waiting elsewhere. Hi ho, hi ho!

Happy Saturday morning! Ana, I got tired just reading about your days! But moving is what keeps us going forward! Hubby is out tilling up a space to plant my garlic.

I sat outside Thursday night after I got home from bowling and watched the northern lights. Pretty spectacular!

Hubby's big breakfast done and am heading down to the horse rescue to work a Wagon Days event all day. It could hit 90 degrees today, so it will be toasty. I have a lot to do here, but it will just have to wait until tomorrow. Only time for a quick cup of WADDB!

Good morning everyone.

It's our Thanksgiving weekend so the stores are full of shoppers grabbing their groceries for the feast. It's been years since I cooked a full-on turkey dinner. We got tired of all the leftovers. These days my nod to the holiday is a chicken and yams and I'm not sure I can even be bothered with that this year, although Willow does love roast chicken.

I'm out tonight for a pub dinner and play with a friend.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Check out this utube video as to where in the sky you can see it.

Good morning everyone. I will definitely check out that comet Gerry as I would have to wait awhile for its next pass by us. Ana, you and Draclvr keep pretty busy ... hope you get the chance to rest today. Hagatha, sounds like you had a wonderful evening. Hi SQF, it's good to see you. Gerry, I'm enjoying a cup of WADDB and leftover knäckebröd before I head out to walk this morning...I'll grab a bagel later this morning.

Have a great Sunday everyone wave

Good Sunday morning! Ahhhhh.... my morning to sleep late and just sit here and drink my WADDB in peace and quiet!

We had at least 200 people at the Wagon Day event at the horse rescue yesterday. Luckily there were plenty of volunteers and we were able to switch off on doing the wagon ride tours. You voice starts to give out if you do too many in a row! Lots of families and little kids just having a wonderful time. It did hit 90 degrees, so was plenty toasty. I was pooped when I got home, so hubby ran in town and got pizzas.

I was just saying to someone that it's been so warm this October that I haven't even gotten to wear any of my Halloween themed sweatshirts!

Thank you for the link about the comet, Gerry! Someone in my neck of the woods saw it last night and I had no idea it was even happening. Will check it out. smile

When my eldest Daughter was at university, Astronomy was part of one of her courses, and at that time we lived out on the N.Yorkshire moors.
One weekend she had a particular assignment to do with taking photos of certain parts of the night sky and had been provided with a specialist camera for the job.
So, in the early hours, we both got up and I drove her out to where she needed to be.
It was pitch black of course. No town lights or anything way up there. Just nothing but us and the free roaming sheep.

After a while we could see headlights approaching - which made us feel rather nervous - and a large vehicle eventually pulled up close by.
And we were both very startled when a really irate man jumped out, demanding to know what we were doing 😯

He turned out to be a farmer who had been suffering losses of his “moors” sheep and thought we were the rustlers who had been committing the dastly deeds. And indeed, he had a shotgun within easy reach 😱

WE were very relieved and HE was highly amused when all was revealed. But we have never forgotten that night !!
