Good morning everyone.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your little one Lex, it’s never easy to say goodbye, especially after sharing so many years together. I know she was special and will be deeply missed. Draclvr, I'm enjoying Folgers Classic Decaf Instant Coffee Crystals since I've given up the real deal. And have always enjoy knäckebröd since I first tried it. Glad to hear you got Dude back on your side with the right flavour Hagatha. I plan to scout for a better comet viewing spot today as tonight we should have clear skies...we were cloudy last night. Such an awesome sight!

Hope today brings you lots of smiles! wave

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your kitty, Lex. She had a good home and I hope you can find comfort in that. The loss of a fur baby is very painful. catrub

Good Morning everyone! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready! wave

Lex I am so sorry for the loss of your kitty...sounds like he or she had a long happy life with you and your spouse...a very lucky kitty. Over the 55 years we have lived in the same house we have had many cats and when it was their time we laid them to rest in our yard...we created a kitty cemetery where they all rest together. cat

Have a peaceful day everyone. smile

Good morning everyone.

Nothing much on the agenda today. It's cold outside! The landscaper is coming to winterize my irrigation system, but apart from that I think I'll do some gaming, go for a walk later on.

I've been setting up an emergency supply station in the garage, beside the man-door to the outside. I just need to get an extra bag of litter and a case of water for the cats. If there was an earthquake Willow would stay with me but Dude...who knows? Anyway, I have supplies for two weeks, with a few more things to buy for myself.

Good Thursday morning! COLD this morning, but we escaped another frost.. Nice and sunny makes it tolerable.

Working up the last of the tomatoes today into a small batch of salsa. I got them blanched and peeled yesterday and was just too tired to finish them up late yesterday afternoon. Picked the last of the dill weed so it didn't freeze and dried it in the microwave last night. We also picked four buckets of green tomatoes to beat the freeze. Got the chicken noodle soup made - with that broth made from the carcasses, it was next level good! Sending a couple of containers over to my daughter-in-law to take to her mom tomorrow. She had to go to an assisted living facility last summer and is having a hard time adjusting to both being a new widow and having to move out of her home. She's 89 and has fallen and laid on the floor overnight, so they just had to do something. Hope a little chicken noodle soup will warm her heart!

What a good idea to lay in extra supplies in the event of a natural disaster, hagatha.

Once again, weeds are my life!

Good afternoon everybody.

I'm happy to hear we are not the only ones who buried our cats in our yards. We left 3 at our old house under a lilac tree. It was hard moving from there but one of my brothers was staying in the house which made it easier, even after he left there a few years later. We have 4 cats and my 1 of my sister's birds in this (very small) yard here. Unfortunately, somehow my brother must have done something to the in ground electric cable with the last cat or the bird and we have not had electricity in our garage for about 13 years now. The other 5 cats are in urns in our house. I worry about the ones in this yard getting dug up one day and also about the urns (some day). Anyway...

I hope you all enjoy the day and the upcoming weekend!

No, you're not alone OldBroad we have five of our cats in our yard. Laying them to rest in the yard gives me comfort, knowing they are still a part of this home where we shared so many fun and peaceful moments together.

Good morning and thansk for the WADDB

I throw in the emergency use knäckebröd. Mrs Sun and mrs Cloud are both visiting today. 14 Celsius.
But no doubt winter is coming. Eventually.

New computer troubles. Had to reinstall the OS and wipe the SSD. Fortunately I made back-up fairly recently so not so much lost.
I hope you are doing better

Happy Friday GameBoomers

Good Friday morning! Very cold, but sunny out there. The hot WADDB is really hitting this spot this morning.

Had to go out in the garage and bring in my barn boots to warm up as I have a big tour down at the horse rescue this morning. Hubby went fishing. Yesterday I canned 10 pints of salsa and had league bowling last night, so I'm taking the rest of the day off when I get home!

Good morning everyone.

It's cold here, too, and it's raining all day, apparently. The house was chilly when I got up. I think I'll have the fireplace thermostat changed to a digital one so that I can set the fireplace to come on at 6 am so the house is warm when I get up.

The leaves are coming down in full force now. It's time to start raking and bagging.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I turned my heat on this past Monday. Even though it was beautiful outside, the cold had settled inside. I even made myself a cup of hot chocolate a couple of nights ago.

Happy Friday to you all!
