it's cold this morning! We might even get snow. It's another gaming day, I think. The veterinarian tech comes this afternoon to trim Willow's nails, which is about as eventful as the day gets (I hope).

Good afternoon everyone. Busy morning today with multiple cups of WADDB along with knäckebröd and bagels. We got a 1/2 inch of rain since last night and the sun broke out this afternoon...we sure can use more rain.

Good WEDNESDAY morning! LOL, Gerry - I'm easily confused!

Good grief, it was 80 degrees F yesterday. Just not normal. Grocery store run today is all that's on the agenda. Going to make a pot sticker soup with bok choy this afternoon.

Draclvr, that soup sounds good. I have to admit that my cooking has fallen by the wayside somewhat. I tend to make roast vegetables and salad. Sone days I'm so lazy I buy a roasted chicken from Choices, which is a local store somewhat like Whole Foods. Their pre-cooked chickens are as nice as I can make them, and they cost about the same, too.

I am craving some good Asian food, though, Korean or Vietnamese or Thai, but I've yet to find any decent places around here. Locals who have lived here for a long time keep pointing me to the "good" Asian restaurants here, but they always prove to be pretty awful and inauthentic. I'd even settle for some half-decent Cantonese-Canadian at this point. I'm really spoiled from living in Vancouver for decades. It's a food heaven.

It's an absolutely lovely day. I'm off for a drive later on.

There's a cat that comes and peers in through my French doors and meows, and it drives Willow crazy -- she attacks the door. I was initially worried that it was lost, but I went out last night to get a good look at it, and it is the fattest cat I've ever seen. So I guess it's just a jerk, not lost. I'll have to use the water spray bottle on it, since shooing it away doesn't really discourage it.

Good Thursday afternoon! Time got away from me this morning, so hope everyone is having a great day. It's over 80 degrees F here again - so unnatural.

The soup was really good, hagatha. I just buy the frozen pot stickers and they are quite decent. I roasted some tofu and added the bok choy cabbage and it was quite filling. I would KILL for a good Thai restaurant out here, but I have to drive in to St. Louis for that. All we have are the typical Chinese buffets.

Good Friday morning! We were forecast for some very severe weather this evening. But this morning our local amateur weather guy - who beats the TV guys by miles - is updating it to even worse. He is saying to have emergency shelter plans in place by 5:00. Wind, large hail and tornados are expected. We are paying for all this much-too-warm weather - over 80 again today - which is providing fuel for the storms.

Yikes!
