The exclamation mark had nothing to do with Dell... that's a function of the operating system, Windows 10 in your case. Just because it says it's operating correctly doesn't mean there isn't an updated driver out there!

Is this an eCollegePC? If so, then the network adapter brand should be listed in your invoice or it should indicate it in Device Manager. You should be able to update the driver from Device Manager. Or go to the manufacturer's website and see if there is an updated driver available. All the other listings under Network Adapters are for your ports.

Maybe take a look at this link.

Under Device Manager it shows: Intel (R) Ethernet connection (7) 1219 V The Driver Version is: 12.19.0.16 dated 9/29/20.

Please confirm if this is the right component, and can you please direct me to a correct driver?

I don't see anything on the eCollege invoice - maybe you can see it?:

Intel Gaming Series Configurator : Intel Core i7 9700 3.0Ghz (4.7Ghz Turbo) 12MB Cache Eight-Core | Stock Intel LGA1151 Heatsink and Fan | ASRock Z390 Pro4 (Intel Z390, HDMI, 2xPCI-E, 2xM.2, 6xSATA, 4xDDR4) | 32GB (16GBx2) DDR4 2666Mhz Memory Lifetime Warranty (Major Brand) | 2TB Intel 660p PCIe M.2 NVMe | 6TB Western Digital Black 7200RPM 128MB Cache SATA3 6Gbps | 24X LG SATA Dual Layer DVD /-RW/CDRW | 8GB Radeon RX 5700 GDDR6 PCI-E DP/HDMI (Major Brand) | Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64bit (Includes DVD + COA) | Microsoft Office 2019 Home and Business w/Power Point | Cooler Master MB600L (1 5.25 2 2.5 3 3.5 ) Fan, Audio/USB 3.0 | 750watt EVGA SuperNOVA P2 Modular 80 PLUS PLATINUM CERTIFIED | Onboard 1Gbit LAN included | Creative Sound Blaster Audigy FX 5 Channel PCIe Sound Card | Black Logitech MK120 Desktop Wired Keyboard and Mouse | Wires and Cables ran behind case and tied up for maximum airflow

Thank you for your help. I had looked at most of that stuff on the internet last night. It is mostly all Gibberish to me!

Yes, you have onboard 1 Gbit LAN for your network adapter. Since you have an Intel based motherboard, that's why is says Intel Ethernet connection. You don't have a WiFi adapter because you use a wired ethernet connection.

If you want to try updating the driver, this link tells you how to download and install.

I am seeing folks online with Windows 10/11 and having trouble with BSOD ndu.sys error messages, and then finding the culprit to be Malwarebytes' Premium Web Protection; at least, after they got rid of that, the BSOD stopped happening.

Not to confuse the issue here. Just something I found through googling that may have nothing to do with your problem. Troubleshooting this stuff can be a real pain.
