If no one can help you here, your best bet would probably be to look for it on eBay. Maybe there is someone in your family that could help you purchase from there (assuming you haven't already).

Yes, eBay is your best bet. I have a disk, but the license is already in use.

Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

I recently tried to power up and reinstall an old XP computer. XP installed nicely but demanded registration on some Microsoft's XP server within 30 days. Problem is the server is offline since years. After 30 days the XP refused to continue. There may be ways to fix the situation but I never managed to. Fortunately I have access to an other old XP latop (not for sale). There is also a promising open source project aiming to make an XP compatible OS. The reactOS. It's still in alpha stage and not recommended for everyday use. Use with caution. I have installed it on a Virtual Machine. Can run some but not all of my XP-era software.

GitHub has many test licenses/registrations you should be able to use. Search & then research before you do anything!

Have you tried this recently? How did it work out?

I'm just providing some feedback. I bought XP ages ago so I'm good! Give it try, let us know how it worked for you!
