The game is getting some very mixed reviews. Most of them talk about stuttering and rough gameplay. A day 1 patch was released, but benchmarks are not positive at all. Sounds like it was released before any of the kinds were worked out - at a pricey $60!
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

Alone in the Dark is 50% OFF on Steam until 1/13 EDIT: There have been 3 updates to the game since my first post Drac. Taking a look at the reviews the positives have good things to say about it: very good game
simply fun to play
frustratingly close to perfection and I am left hungry for more
by far the best Alone in the Dark game
definitely recommended and the negatives have their issues: boring, buggy, and sometimes even stutters
story was lacking. Combat wasn't great
puzzles lacking
recommended 35-60% off These opinions were all after the updates. 50% OFF is not enough of a discount for me to give it a try yet. Check out the broadcast running
