Good morning Lex, Gerry, OldBroad, Hagatha and all who follow. No walk this morning. Our temps didn't plummet below freezing as forecast and the wintery mix stayed North of us and it just rained all night and continues this morning. The last time we had a wintery mix 6 years ago the sides of the roads were sprinkled with cars and trucks who lost control and slid off the road. Taking wife to an appointment later this morning and then grocery shopping this afternoon.

Good morning, Danish, Donuts, and Bagels in the Break Room. Yesterday was the coldest day we had in several years. Today it will hit 70, then cold again. These older houses were not constructed for cold weather. Enjoy the day and hug someone.

We're still rainy and cold here, though it isn't freezing. It's still cold enough to make the roads (and my sloped driveway) slippery. When I take my bins out I have to creep down the slope sideways.

The dentist appointment went as expected, but happily my new year of insurance kicked in this month, which was a nice surprise and relief as I had expected a large bill.

Good Friday morning! Oh, joy! another 4" of snow on top of the 4" of ice and 4" of snow from last weekend! This is one of those really pretty snows and the woods are beautiful. I must have 50 Cardinals and another 50 birds of other species on the bird feeders.

Just going to sit here and enjoy my WADDB and look out the window!

I finally got to take my 4+ mile walk with my neighbor yesterday...I bundled up in layers, wore a mask and scarf over it to protect my face from the bitter wind chill! I even wore gloves inside my mittens!

My bird feeders are busy too with cardinals, sparrows, chick-a-dees, titmice and then squirrels, morning doves and blue jays on my table feeder.

Good Saturday morning! Just finished hubby's big breakfast and I'm sitting down with the first cup of WADDB. My son is coming over this morning to install some grab bars in the shower for after hubby's knee surgery Monday. We're probably long past needing those anyway!

Sunny and in the 20's, so maybe we will get a little bit of thawing today.

It felt great to get out and take a long walk Friday...only got a short walk yesterday...we had snow flurries and a bit of wind...I didn't feel like walking in the cold without sunshine...hope to get in a long walk today.

Soot I had lots of birds in my yard yesterday gathering up the seeds from the pine trees and grass. Drtaclvr I will keep your hubby in my prayers for his surgery on Monday.
