No, but it's very close to the seats

It is indeed, soot - really takes me back!

I should have gotten this! My Saturn Vue has a handbrake which I use all the time. It also has a stick shift.

Every car I’ve ever owned, including my current one, has had a handbrake.

And in the UK, they are neither considered old fashioned OR for emergencies !!

But then you know us Brits …. Totally traditional, if nothing else 😝

I don't drive but I thought all cars are equipped with an emergency handbrake ?

Many cars (including mine now) have a foot parking brake

I’ve driven “automatic” cars but never owned one.

And so my cars have always had 3 foot pedals .. accelerator, brake and clutch .. plus a
hand brake.

Interesting how cars can be designed differently ….

Over here, traditional handbrakes seem to be being replaced by small electric levers. Don't like them much, they haven't got the "feel" of the old ones

I’ve not heard of that innovation before, Urban Worrier, even though one of my relatives normally has every new thing “car-wise” going !! 😬
