LOL! Judith, I'd just settle for a margarita right now! Ran a sample in to the doctor's office and of course, it's a UTI. They have called in a prescription for antibiotics to the pharmacy, so I will have to run in town again this afternoon.

Good Morning everyone! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready! ![wave wave](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/wave.gif) Draclvr if hubby is on a strong antibiotic be sure he takes a probiotic to keep from getting a C-diff infection. There are certain antibiotics that can kill the good bacteria in the colon...especially in older adults...it happened to my hubby several years ago. I do hope your weather improves and you get some down time. ![cat cat](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/cat.gif) Wishing everyone a peaceful Wednesday! ![wave wave](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/wave.gif) Gerry ![catrub catrub](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/catrub.gif)

Good Wednesday morning! Just popping in before we head in town for his post-op appointment with his surgeon. Just two doses of the Cipro and he's already feeling better.
Gerry, I'm quite familiar with C-diff and how utterly terrible it is! But Cipro is a quick and dirty 5-day course of antibiotics. He's done it several times before for other things. Did you know that for really severe cases which can't be resolved with pro-biotics etc., they have found that taking a "poop pill" to restore the microbiota in the colon is effective?!
Another day in the mid-50's so maybe another tenth of an inch of this ice will thaw!

Good Morning Fogfighter, connie, soot, Draclvr, hagatha, SpaceQ, and everyone! Wide awake Double Dark brew awaits. ![wave wave](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/wave.gif) I hope all went well with hubby's appointment and the pain is easing. I have not heard of the "poop" pill but have heard of fecal microbiota transplant (FMT)....placing a donor's stool in your colon! ![scared scared](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/scared.gif) Hope you all have a sunny day! ![wave wave](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/wave.gif) Gerry ![catrub catrub](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/catrub.gif)

Good Thursday morning! Fabulous conversation for early in the morning, Gerry! Yes, the FDA approved the pill a few years ago.
Post-op visit went well. X-ray showed replacement is still textbook perfect. Pain is easing up and just 2 days on the Cipro has eliminated the UTI symptoms. He will stay on it for another 3 days. I think he has turned the corner! Just in time because I'm exhausted! Hope I can get the trash down to the end of the driveway today. I couldn't last week because of the ice. It's raining right now and above freezing, so I HOPE that gets rid of the rest of it!
League bowling tonight.

Good Morning connie, Draclvr, soot, Fogfighter, hagatha, and everyone! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready! ![wave wave](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/wave.gif) It will be a rainy Friday here...probably won't get to walk as the cold, frozen surfaces of the road may have icy patches. ![smirk smirk](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/smirk.gif) Hope you all have a great day! ![wave wave](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/wave.gif) Gerry ![catrub catrub](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/catrub.gif)

Yay! Friday! With WADDB. Over here 2 Celsius and cloudy. Had a glitch in the computer and reinstalled the OS. I'm pretty sure the hexagons were not to blame. Thank heaven for backups. So back on track again. Great the Draclvr hubby situation is improving. I keep my fingers crossed for you. And wish all the GameBoomers a happy Friday ![wave wave](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/wave.gif)

Good morning Connie, Fogfighter, Gerry and all who get the chance to pop in today. Ah....WADDB and bagels...it doesn't get much better than this on a T.G.I.F. morning. Got my walk in this morning before the rain starts. Yes indeed Fogfighter, back-ups are crucial in working with software. Grocery shopping is on my docket this morning. Have a wonderful Friday everyone. ![wave wave](https://www.gameboomers.com/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/wave.gif)

Good morning everyone.
Our break from rain has finally ended with a major rainstorm. We're possibly in for some snow, though it's not expected to be very serious. It's a Pilates morning and I'm struggling with the desire to just stay in bed and drink coffee and read. I will go, though. I'm always fine once I get there.
I am supposed to walk with a friend this afternoon but that's looking a bit dicey.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Friday morning! It's late, but we just got back from hubby's first PT appointment. They said he is already ahead of schedule for his range of motion, so hopefully the coming rehab will go quickly for him. It's been a bit of a rough road for both of us!
Kind of a dreary, cloudy day. Only thing I need to do is mop my floors, but there is absolutely no point! I'm tracking in mud and the ashes I use to walk on the ice and I'll just wait until things get better outside!
Hmmm... could it be a good day for some gaming?

Excellent news about your Husband, Draclvr !!
And never mind mopping any floors. Caring for him and coping with all the other more important things is quite enough 👍👍👍

Fogfighter, there is nothing worse that a misbehaving computer! And backups are life-savers.
Just finished hubby's Saturday morning big breakfast. First time I haven't had to deliver it upstairs! Small victories are good. Now it's time for me to sit down with a nice cup of WADDB and relax.
