Yes, it's me again. I'm at level 32 or 33. I made it into a castle and underground near the imp's teleporter. Defeated the guy riding the dragon (finally) and found a bunch of gold and jewels and whatnot. Is the imp's teleporter scroll supposed to be here somewhere? It seems I can see those little red enemy x's beyond the walls of the few rooms I had access to so there has got to be more to this.

Ack ack ack phhhht! What am I missing?

<----- as close to groveling as it gets!

You'll find the scroll at the north end of the castle map, in the center, (to the left of where the dragon rider room is) where there is a bunch of garbage - either click on the bodies or the garbage, can't remember.

Whimper, I want out of these catacombs.
I've decided it's them or me, darn it's seems to always be them. Marion, you and Nickie keep my spirits up. I am so slow at this ok, drat, I was going to bed, but talked myself out of it again.
Wish be well a deep deep well to get me out of here!!

Ingie, truly the dungeons seem like they take forever, but you're closer to being finished with them then you think. Do a lot of running and take black potions and you can avoid a lot, if you need to. Put that head up high, lady!

I think I spent days at and days in the catacombs, and it drove me nuts, too. It won't be long now until you're through them. smile

Hi Ingie:

I'm glad to hear things are moving along for you. I'm in sort of a catacomb area now in Neverwinter Nights, and it feels like it's gone one forever. I played all day today and I'm still there!

Like nickie said, the real fun is beginning for you. Do as many quests as you can since that will help you level up. Also, you meet a lot more characters that way.

I managed to get to the bridge, helped with the troll, tried to fight a few orc, but found myself running like a scared chicken, I'll take Nickie's advise and return to them when I have more power.
I ended last night in the farmlands. So, I'm just sorta of nosing around and checking the area out. I finally saw on the map, red flags..
I did step on the transporter before leaving and the map lit up as fire burning on the map.
I'm not sure I did the right thing, but I left 1 transporter stone by M. house, He now heals me without having to pay..and I don't have a lot of stuff to trade with. Onward, another day I hope of playing without interrupts.

Hi Ingie!

I have been to the Dark Forest, the Dwarven Halls, Imp's Castle, etc. down south. You've probably figured most of this stuff out but here's some tips (and encouragement)...

If the weapons and armor you find laying around are in good shape, pick them up and stash them near your home base teleporter stone (where you sleep). There is a blacksmith who will buy this stuff off of you (and gold apparently doesn't weigh anything bravo

Hi Gang!

There is a house in Verdistis just north of the General Store that is abandoned. It has a locked hatch in the floor that I just cannot get open. It doesn't seem to be part of a quest or anything, just something that will drive me buggy!

Any ideas?

Marion, I found a bunch of stuff and then put it down, forgot to mark it, but I'll find it. I didn't think I needed it, rakes, shovels, things like that..but I see what you mean.
I don't have enough money to do much with so trading is something I will have to do.
I thought I'd be able to play today, but, those interrups happened, so I'm just getting ready to do a little nosing around. I just love be able to walk in someone's house and they stand there and watch me peek into their stuff, cracks me up.
A locked anything drives me insane. I never did get the trunk under the tree near the orcs unlocked. And I have a bundle of lockpics and that's suppose to be one of my talents! Bah, I'd just as soon take an axe and beat it to death, but it wouldn't let me. I'll be something really good was in there.
Ok, I have my one stone in the 1st village because I saved his mind he's healing me free and quick! I'll make sure I pick it up when I feel safe enough--I am such a chicken at this, I hate getting bashed up and killed.
Hope you get your hatch open, bet Nickie or Jean knows how. If's it locked, there's a reason!

Ingie,

You're playing as a thief, right? Probably the best skills I can recommend are wisdom (increases your experience points) and lock pick. I've found also, that when you put all 5 skill points that you earn when you level up into intelligence, you get 2 skills to pick leveled up as opposed to just one when you apply the points elsewhere. Does that make sense? lol

Don't worry about being a chicken...that's what saves are for!

Yeah, the Singer sword was my best weapon too, until I got the divine one which had frost on it. As far as the locked hatch, there are 3 quests in Verdistis that take you into the hatches, so you may have stumbled across one of those. Which house is it ? OOPs, just reread your post, where you said north of the general store. There are two things it could be, but will have to look to be sure. It might be the place that becomes important later in dealing with the council (have you got all the members for council yet?)

Okay, now sleeping in the hay and found all my stolen goodies.
Marion, thanks for the tip about what to chose, yes I'm a thief, getting good at stealing, I must say, but I have about 7 points to use and 2 skills to choose. So, now I know where to put them.
Dumb bees, and what's with the hostile kitties??
Some Knight came up to me and well, he killed me, but he had help from some bee.
Got to the Blue Something Inn, lots of goodies in the cellar a few in one room that a young lady wouldn't let me investigate.
I found your Maria! Stuck a blue flag right on top of her.
Killed a Troll, but the man didn't really seem to care. Found the cow thief, but kept quiet about it, I tried to tell on him but I wouldn't do it.
He's in jail now. So much going on, I have a letter and have to find a guard to give it to, but no one tells me their name. Rats!
I've been killing anything and everything-surprised the heck out of me when I killed a cow, had no idea I was going to do that. I acheived double digits 10!! That made me feel good. Soon be a teenie booper!!(Oh, that's a punie)
Having fun, the farmlands are busy quests!
Oh and I found the human transporter, now I have to find the scroll..I'm marking everything.
Talked to some strange people that want me to open a garden gate for them...hmmm, backtracked on that one when I saw where I was, a little close to that Abbey Place. What's a nice Catholic girl like me doing? Killing, thieving and generally being a bad/good person....
Keep posting, helps me when I finally get somewhere!!

Audrey, don't worry about that house now it will be relevant later on in the game. Wizards rental house I think. It would not hurt to mark it on your map and make yourself a note so you don't forget about it. smile

Thanks, Chibon!

Okay Ingie...I got through Stormfist Castle. Not much of a problem if you wait until you've done everything else you can do. And I found the imp who took my teleporters at the Council of Seven place. Now I have to round up a member of each race for the council.

I tried to kill the Talking Tree in the Dark Forest with Buad's tea but I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. Lugged a barrel of it all the way over to the tree and I can't figure out how to use it to poison the tree.

Marion, you're so funny! Hauling the tea to the tree. lol I actually didn't get a chance to kill it because I forgot about the tea. Make sure you have the deadwood branch first that you need to give to what's her name, Corinna? rolleyes My poor memory.

Somehow I have achieved Level 12, didn't even know I had acheived 11!!Surprise!
Biggest shock was when I went to blow up the orc train, went through a lot of hostile enviroment and left the barrel somewhere. Had nothing with which to blow it up! had to backtrack, left it in a haystack way back when!!
I am now in the Merchant area, finally found someone to repair my stuff, whew.
I chose pickpocket skill, I get to take stuff and when the mechant says find anything, I just say no thanks just looking, and it's in my inventory, now that's fun.
I think I'm trying to help Maria out something with the merchant guild guy..
Killed a bunch of Trolls, I think they were bugging the farmers. They have been blamed for a lot of killing I did.
Blew up the orc well, that went much better.
Now there's a Giant Orc, he kills me dead..
I having a blast, don't want to quit, but I get so mad, I get so involved that I forget to Save and of course, regrets!
Thanks for all the encouragement, yes Jean it's quite a little nice place (HA)

OH, the joy of being back!! Been in dd all evening and I do not which was worse, the dang mosquitoes or those three dingdongs trailing after me in the garden. I played hide-n-seek for a good 10 mins. Ok, I've done the Garden thing, found the vamp in the wine cellar-something unjust about that, of course he sucked me dry..go back to that later, but that will be at least 2 quest solved there. Can't decide to go graveyard picking or back to the dwarf jewler, that'll be tom. nites fun and games, does the guy whose cart got toasted have the tree root or not??can't decide if he's lying or not. I did not burn it.
But, I snitched on who I thought did.
Asked to join the Thief Guild, yeah, my pickpocket skills are horrible..
I'm at the next Level-14 yippee!!
Marion, did you find your dwarf??
Cheers, Ingie

Yes I found my dwarf! happydance The council of seven is now complete and I banged the gong. Ended up in a desert (wastelands?).

I left a few quests not done such as the bottle of wine for Corinna. I got the bottle of wine but apparently not the correct "quest" way. Also couldn't bust Tingalf. Found the depot first (nosey me) and then the quest wouldn't work. Oh well...too many things to kill and not enough time...story of my life. thumbsup .

I'll be back!

that makes perfect sense!!
Nickie, nope, better check that garden over again.
Those 3 dopes following me gave me willies...
No, I didn't think it would be that easy, didn't trust the guy anyway, he not nice!
I'll be gone all day so fire it up tonight, oh boy
Hope I remember to go through the garden again.
Those vampires are mean, but I killed one sorta of vampire according to my trophies, couldn't begin to tell you where I ran into him.
Marion, it sounds like you're so close to being done!!! I'm sure all these quests will never be completed, but...as in life, mine aren't either
It bugs me that I can't get my figure to jump over things or at least climb a fence.

Ingie -
It looks like I have quite a bit of game still left. Lots and lots of imps to kill. I have to find a dragon who's supposed to make me a ghost so I can get across some lake to stop the Black Ring. I have no idea what this is all about, but Zandalor is here with me and what he says, I do. I'm glad I brought all my money with me, but now I'm running out. Guess I'll have to find more stuff to sell. Oh and my teleporter pyramids came with me.

Nickie-
I'm level 44. Do you get some kind of score at the end of this game so you can tell how you did?

You'll just see what level you are as you finish, but I don't think there is any indication about points or anything. If there is, I never saw it.

Just a quick guideline to judge your results, Marion:

Still standing = did well
Pushing up daisies = could use improvement

Not pushing up daisies yet, well, a few times, but learning to save.
Nickie, found out about the garden, so delightful
once I figured out.
Been back to killing orcs. All execpt one huge guy that is Ugly!!
I just run from him.
Marion, I could go to Stormfist now, but I think I need to solve some other things. Like that darn cave with the lost kid, I really don't want to go in there, gotta stake handy???
I achieved another level, bees and boars helped with that-lol
Rocky Road and DD go so well together!!

Sigh, you all are having so much fun! I wish I was playing it all over again with you. DD is a very special game.

I'm playing Neverwinter Nights, which is a lot of fun too, but DD is a horse of a different color! I can't wait until they come up with another one. happydance

You and me both, Jean! Have to get my vicarious thrill this way, hearing about the steps Marion and Ingie are going through. And Singer, too funny lol - just happy I made it standing at the end of a game, so it is so true!
Don't know if anyone is interested, but I played two full days going through the Wastelands with no end in sight of the relentless hordes, and realized I must not be going about it the right way. Reloaded from the start of it, and maxed my deadly disk spell, and then whipped through the whole thing in a matter of hours. From there on out, except for crossing the swamp, that spell worked like a charm laugh

lol nickie! Remember when I was in the Wastelands? I was polymorphing right and left and then wondering why the monsters were popping up again. eek It finally sank it that if I polymorphed them they would turn back eventually, so I had to go back and kill them. lol

I DO remember, Jean! Too funny - "Why are there all these bunnies and frogs in the desert?" laugh Maybe we should start a thread about our bloopers on DD and Z...no, mine alone would probably shut down the server again! lol

OH, now there's a desert and wasteland-yippee
Those frogs are very strange little fellows, not sure why they're so hostile!
I ended last night at the gate of Stormfist Castle, but I don't think I'm ready...
I think I have to finish up a few quests? Like going to that cave, and what am I to do about Maria? That town V... whatever, didn't really get a whole lot done there, thought perhaps I was there too soon. I wish now I had saved a game at each town..my computer would have really enjoyed that..Do I need to go back to where I started and finish any business? I can't find the Med...guy
the one I saved, he's not in any Inn I've been to
However did find the others..Old grouchie was there and tried to zap me when I said goodbye-he needs an attitude adjustment if you ask me.
I know the vampire that killed George is in Wine Cellar. I saved before going in, he killed me, tried twice, but sucked me dry both times.
There was a sword called Something Vampire Slayer, but the Amory Man won't deal with me-he didn't care for my theiving ways-hey a girl has to make a living. The blacksmith doesn't have one. So, I'm kinda lost wondering where to go??
A little hint always appreciated.

Hi all!

I made it through the wastelands this weekend. Killed everything I could find and got the invisibility spell from the dragon. But everytime I use it to cross the poison lake, some ghosts (or something) comes along and zap...I'm dead. Is there some trick I'm missing (again???)

Oh well, off to work and then I can play tonight!

Ingie - save that dratted Stormfist castle for very very last if you can. Oh and the vampire in the cave with the little boy, he's not too tough to kill as I recall and you get tons of experience if you sacrifice yourself for the little boy.

Hi Marion:

Are you sure you're not staying out on the lake too long? The spell does wear off, and when it does they can see you.

Other than that I don't have a clue as to why it's not working!

Ingie, not sure what guy you are trying to find? You can improve some people's attitude by giving them items. Go to them like a regular trade, and just ask for nothing in return. Also, if you can get charms that boost your spiritual side, you will have an easier time of it with the vampires and other undead. The further you go in the game in fact, this is something you need to boost up.
On that Maria quest, do you mean you haven't found the right person to finish it?
Marion, did you put any more points into that invisibility spell? I think I put an extra level into it, to be able to get across the swamp without reappearing and getting zapped.

Nickie -

Yes, I added an extra level but that doesn't seem to be enough. And I'm all out of stuff to level up on so no more points.

Just have to keep trying I guess!

Ingie - don't let that vampire intimidate you. Go save that kid!

Hmm Marion, don't know what else to tell you. Except when you're going across the swamp, are you getting to land? It's easy to go what seems like forever without seeing land, but if you're at the southern part of your map, you should be able to cross it quickly, and see another thousand or so bad guys waiting on land for you.

Okay, I use the invisibility spell which consumes 27 magic to cast the spell. Then at that level, I should be consuming 3 points per second. I have 1112 total magic points. And it takes approximately 10-12 seconds of running across that swamp, and boom...no more magic and I'm dead. Am I using fuzzy math? Shouldn't I be living a little longer than 12 seconds (12 x 3 = 36). I should have plenty of magic do get across that swamp. What am I doing wrong?

I have a major question about the charms, once you place it in one object, can you remove it if you get something better?? I received a better shield, but have a charm in the one, can I exchange it? and how??
ok, saved the kid, went to the church, caught the kid doing the pee thing, bad brat..
loved killing ghosties!! Went through the area with zombies, ghouls and other snotty looking critters, went back to Blacksmith to mend and repair and just generally take a good peek at, he is a speciman isn't he, oops, ok, halo little low that time.
I can't find a wishing well anywhere, went all around the abby and graveyard.
Belong the Thief's Guild-Mom would be so proud!
took everything that wasn't nailed down.
I'm going after the bottle of wine for the summon mistress, then I think I'll try the vamp in wine merchants again, oh and I'm at level 16 & 1/2
Oh and I'm suppose to try to get some lockpics, I have gone around the outer edge of stormfist, but not entered yet..I think I need to go back to the army barracks place..but there's those nasty guys that change the soliders against me.
Big Ole Orc went to Inn and killed a bunch of people while chasing me, so I got all the goodies!
Sorry so long Marion, I know you're tired of drowning, so looking forward to that!
Cheers!

Marion, sorry, just don't know. My math is atrocious, but it does seem like you should be getting further. Can you gobble some mana potions on your way, and see if that helps? If not, perhaps you could post on the Larian board? There just may be something about doing it as a thief that I'm not comprehending, cause as a wizard it was a snap.
Ingie, no, you can't move the charms, darn it! That was a suggestion by many people for their new game. You're coming along great - big and bad at 16! Did you go into the sewers ? If not, it will level you up quickly.
Yep, you and Marion and the blacksmith, uh huh! Not that I would notice such a thing! My halo is firmly in place!
You're beefy enough to kill all those soldiers that are zapped out now, so demolish them for some easy points (the real bad guys are gone from there).
Wishing well is near the burned wagon - to the left of it, up in the area with no buildings. JMK has better directions for it, if she comes along, since she told me where to find it!
If you're looking for the lockpicks for the quest, they're inside a building in Verdistis. You have to swipe them from a desk. Need me to tell you where, and I will.
You'll need to get a branch for the summoning from a different area you haven't been to.
Funny about the little brat, huh? And don't forget to do the abbey before you go into Stormfist, but I wouldn't do it before you reach the twenties...IF you have extra points now, consider the summoning spell and your own knight, and also the skeleton wall. I used both for help in the abbey, since there are so many darn baddies coming from all sides.

Gee Ingie, drowning doesn't seem to be the problem. The lake is poisonous. I have tried every which way I know, but after 10 or so seconds (not nearly enough time), boom! I'm dead in a puddle of blood with no magic left. Poop!

Marion, I'm trying to figure out what could help. Just to clarify, you do turn into a ghost when you click the spell, right? You said running over the swamp, so just making sure.

Thanks Nickie - yes I am invisible, my vitality (red bar) stays fine, my blue bar runs down very slowly, and after a very short period of time, about 1/4 of the way to the flag (starting due west of it), I'm dead, no magic, but full vitality. I noticed at one point when I went back to the shore and returned myself to visibility, my mana still was running down. Maybe a glitch or a bug? Has anyone played as the female thief and made it across?

I posted at the Larian board and the reply was, "It should work." Well, it's not! I can't even get in sight of the land.

I really need some help please!!!

Nickie, Ok I was going to the wrong well, I knew I had to go back to baddies at the barracks, but wasn't sure there first or sewers first. First time I found it, I popped down to say hi do and about a million, ok, hundred..oh alright about 10 lizards jumped me-nasties.
I know several things I'm going to have to obtain, and the cheapest is at the Blue Boar Inn through the elf healer..
I've become so greedy!
Ah, poisioning does not sound good Marion, I hope you get help before I get there!!
Which will be in a very long time...
Having fun though!

Marion, I'm not trying to belabor a point, I'm just trying to make sure we're talking on the same page. You're using the spell that turns you into a ghost, right? And not just the one that makes you "invisible"?

Nickie - you're not belaboring a point...you're being thorough and I appreciate that. The spells you are referring to are "Fade From Sight" which is invisibility and "Embrace Shadows" which just makes you harder to see in dim light. I am using "Fade From Sight" on level two. I should have plenty of magic (and I do!) to get across. It runs down a little at a time for about the first 10-12 seconds that I am going across. Then the blue bar goes completely empty and I end up on my back in a pool of blood.

I need more cheesecake!

Hi Marion:

I'm not at home so don't have Larian's link here to look, but "Fade from Sight" is not the spell you need here. There is an actual spirit spell, but I can't remember the exact name. It turns you into a spirit. I'll see if I can pull it up here, somewhere.

I'm stil looking. It has something to do with the Path of the Divine, a survivor skill, and has to do with becoming a ghost. But darn if I can remember what it's called to search for it!

Here's the post that mentions it.

http://lariancom.siteprotect.net/ubbthre...;o=&fpart=1

Maybe you should look on the survivor skill page, or see if the ghost one is mentioned on your's.

It is definitely not either of the two skills you mentioned, and Jean is right that it is under the Path of the Divine in the Way of the Survivor. Just can't remember the name of it either, something with spirit in it perhaps?

Nickie and Jean!

Boy is my face red!!!! blush blush blush

I have so many skills, I just assumed invisibility was the one. I didn't even realize that I had the spirit one.

Now, can you guess where I am???? Go ahead...just a little bitty guess...DING DING DING (that's my "what a dim bulb" alarm going off.)

Thank you both sooooo much! Hey Ingie, there is hope for me yet. Once I got across the lake, there were a ton of monsters but they're just monster spoo now!

Hi Ingie:

Have you found the Wishing Well yet? If not, here is a link to the Larian BB and a map of where you can find it:

Yep floating! (On Cloud 9) Whoo hoo!

But seriously...didn't I get rid of these five creeps once before? Hrm...now I have to remember how I beat each one before...not that THAT will help.

Ingie!!!! You are so going to love this part...lots of killing new types of monsters!!! Level up girl, you have a ways to go!

Just an observation:
Some reviews I've read consider the fact that once you clear out monsters in a certain area, they don't come back, which they consider a good thing. For some of us more patient types, I like going somewhere I know has decent monsters (read: ones I can beat), just to level up.

But this way is certainly more challenging.

Now THAT would be an interesting game option...what if you could set it where you never run out of monsters in any area. So if you were one of those people who love leveling up in order to get farther ahead, you could.

Ok, I'm done.

Actually you can sort of do that, Marion, on a small scale. You can use the resurrect(?) spell or whatever it's called, to give them life and then kill them again. And yes, you sure did face the baddies before - except ol Josephina is tougher this time around.

Way to go Marion!!
I'm at level 18 when I ended last night.
Have some free time here in a little while so just might go back. I loved the battlefield!!
Not afraid of the Bones no more.
Fighting orcs now, killed 2 drummers, but that huge blue one, he's nailed me twice, I'll get him.
Thanks Jean for that link, I was not anywhere near the right place, but now have an idea where to go. I haven't gone into the Forest area yet-Dwarfian Hall or whatever. But I did find the teleporter and activated it.
I'm going to the Barracks and try and fight the soliders that turn against me. Have 2 spells I can get, but can't decide at this point which ones, so I'll see how things go. Like that freeze that was fun, and really good with the meteroites!!
Wish you could change the charms to better armour when you find it, but alas, oh, could I wish for that??
Off track here....Marion I do so love bashing these turkeys. Went into sewer killed a few lizards, need to go back and finish up there, but I blush to tell you, went under the General Store, hit wrong response and wound up in a room with some guy! Shocked-yep, but my character seemed to enjoy herself..
I must remember the lake thing..
But that's a long way away!!
When did you go into the abby? I've been around, but not inside yet.

Oh Ingie, you mean you found the uh...people of the night? Funny way to get experience points, no? (By the way, it doesn't work twice!) I think I was around level 21 when I went in the abbey. The soldiers are pretty puny, you shouldn't have any problem - I was a weakling, and I dispatched them with a sword, rather than wasting the magic. And Marion must be just about finished with the game - hooray!

I am close to the end! Cleaning up some "regular" monsters and then will go get the five main ones. Am I correct in assuming that those black spikes will disappear once I've taken out the "final five"?

Now I don't want the game to end. wave

Here's a question I've been meaning to ask...what does it mean when you have a glowing eye thingy on you? I've notice it a few times when I'm fighting somebody (usually a main baddie).

uck, glowing eye thingy, oh yea, another yummy to look forward too.
Yep, went bad for awhile. Now, I'm in real deep,
Sir D.. wants me to steal from Sir. Patrick..
I fixed Maria's problem-yea for her, going back soon to let her know.
Thought I'd fight the sewers a little more, ye gads they go on forever.
Oh, went back to org. catacombs and finished up those boney folks that were bugging me. Killed that Zombie and dang Drummer Boy too, and the Thugs-they were tricker.
I think I'm at level 20, forgot to look, game seems to go slow in a few parts, like slo-mo, I have G-force 4 Nvideo can't think that's the problem...
So, I just stop playing for awhile, give me and them a break...Killed 2 dark assains also in the sewers, saved the cat, whew though I'd killed it.
Nope, I took the keys way earlier in game, so all gone, can't help him.
Marion, I'm so happy for you, but think I know how you feel, I'm really begining to think this character of mine is real, I get so mad at her when so won't sleep or eat....grrrr holds up my killing time.

Yes, when you kill the five baddies, the spikes will go down, allowing you to get to the ringleader. When the eye appears on your character, it means the blind spell has been sucessfully used against you. That can be a real pain!

OH, I'm so happy for you Marion, yeah
Poor me, somehow I've lost my shield. It's blank of me and in my armour supply list, yet when I pull up armour and point to blank spot where it should be, all the information comes up, but alas no shield...I don't think I traded it, went back to all I deal with and no luck, now have to find another I guess. Yes, I have been trying to level up, going slow in these sewers, they do go on forever, but I found the teleporter!!
Hope to play sometime tonight, so much going on right now..
Hugs, Ingie

Hi Ingie:

Sometimes if your stats fall you can't use a piece of equipment you had before. Check to see where all your levels are. You may have changed something somewhere that is preventing you from using it.

Ingie - Another thought on the shield...what weapon do you have equipped? You cannot equip a shield if you have a bow and arrow equipped or a two-handed (claymore) sword equipped.

Doggone, why is Josephina so tough this time? I didn't have near the trouble the first time and I'm a lot stronger now. She's going to take some time and patience. Hrm. rolleyes

Marion,
you're right, I was using a different type of weapon, a Claymore, went back to BloodSucker. I think it's named that because repairs are costing too much. I have a repair charm, but I think I'll take your advise or someone's in this strand and bump it up some.
Haven't played much today, but killed all the soliders that were enchanted. That was fun!
Told Maria she went home I guess.
Think I'll head to the Abby, SAVE, SAVE boy I wish I would learn that one.
I need to finish the sewers, if there is an end to them!!
Can't decide to give the title to Sir D... that I got from Sir Patrick. Is it a good idea to join all the guilds??
Well, I've had a horrible couple days and feel like killing something that is not real, so back I going until the coffee effects wear off.
I miss Nickie, she's always up late, hope she's having fun.

Ingie-

Ever glad to help! Yes, you need to steal the title deed. (You are a thief, after all.) It might ding your reputation a little. Clean out those sewers, there's lots of good stuff there, and leveling up points for killing baddies. Sorry you've had a couple of bad days. I know what you mean...could it be a full moon?

I joined every guild I could. I found you get some valuable information, help, and just plain stuff when you do.

Bleah, it's Friday and I have to go do payroll. On the bright side, that makes it payday! Whoo hoo! And tonight, watch yourself Josephina, I'm coming for you!

I think I killed the Demon of Lies. But he's not moving and flames are coming out of his chest...well they're not moving either. Did I defeat him?

Hi Marion:

Did you get the rest of the Circle? If so, killing the Demon of Lies should be the ending of the game, but there should be an ending sequence movie. If nothing is moving, not even the flames, maybe your game froze on you. If you have a saved game you might want to play that scene over again. frown

Thanks, Jean! I had to go back and defeat him all over again. I think it had to do with killing him diectly (with my sword). The first time I killed him I was using scorpion traps and I think a scorpion killed him before I was able to, so he just froze and nothing happened. Actually I think defeating Josephina was tougher than he was. bravo

Many thanks to you and Nickie for keeping me pointed in the right direction.! thumbsup

Ingie, you're in for quite a treat!

And Jack, when are you going to put your money where your mouth is and play this puppy? Hmmmm?

Meanwhile my BAAGing has continued so now I have a bunch more games waiting. Play on!

Oh Marion, I'm so thrilled for you, there is light at the end of the sewers! yipee.
Went in last night and saved the folks near the Archer's Guild and cleared their house of some meanies. But could not join the archer's guild, said they were taking no new members. I did find and activate the teleporter. Went to the Abby and cleared that joint out. I'm going to the sewers and finish off there, or get finished off.
Had a hard time with the Jake (and may I add here, again; What is with that guy?) I could not save. Went into Larian and was told that until I re, re killed him I wasn't able to save, so did that-that guy is a pest...I really wish I could find his dead wife and let her deal with him.
Okay, off to the nasties down in the sewers-yuck what a way to spend a rainy Sat., but happy days are ahead Easter tomorrow!!
