Hello all. If anyone is playing this game perhaps you can help me. I found message that said go to the beach. I am supposed to find a bucket that has a valve inside it. I have looked all over and did find a bucket
but nothing is inside it or around it. Can anyone help me out? Thank you.

Are you just starting the game or are you somewhere else in the game? If you're at the very beginning the valve is a couple of beaches up the screen (if I remember correctly).

Thank you for trying to help. I now found out I don't need to find a bucket but a key to open the trunk of the car on the beach. I have no idea where it is so I will start looking....

You certainly need the car key but I can't tell you where I found it sorry. I had it at the time I got the message to go to the beach.

Doreen, you can find the game here on Steam. It came out on February 7th and is the 35th anniversary edition, a kind of remastered version. Apparently there is combat, though. Oldbroad is playing the game right now and perhaps she will post here and tell you a bit more about it. We have also been discussing it in the Adventure Games Discussions forum.

It is not combat but there is shooting of apparitions and other things and/or running away. It's not really too hard but you will die and I am dying a little more than I would like to. The game usually loads you back near to where you were but there is still some replaying to be done. You do not lose the items you may have picked up though. It's not exactly my type of game and I really don't have a clue what I'm supposed to be doing but it is kind of fun anyway and does keep drawing me back in.
