Going through my emails of posts, sipping on my coffee and saw your verbage and thought it was a post in the mixed bags break room. Scared the bejeezus out of me! So relieved to see it's about a game!

There will be some more puzzles oldbroad but based on where I am at there certainly aren't a lot. The conundrums around finding and using items are more prevalent, but I think overall the balance of the various threads (exploring/puzzling/inventory/shooting) is rather good.

Just for kicks, I played Real Myst, Masterpiece Edition this week. It's a nice improvement on the original game of (holy smokes!) thirty years ago. The game is essentially the same, but rendered for free movement, and improved graphics. I even remembered some of the original, LOL

I played the regular Myst Masterpiece not too long ago (last year sometime) and tried to play the Masterpiece Edition but got too dizzy.
