Yes, it's me again. I'm at level 32 or 33. I made it into a castle and underground near the imp's teleporter. Defeated the guy riding the dragon (finally) and found a bunch of gold and jewels and whatnot. Is the imp's teleporter scroll supposed to be here somewhere? It seems I can see those little red enemy x's beyond the walls of the few rooms I had access to so there has got to be more to this.

Ack ack ack phhhht! What am I missing?

<----- as close to groveling as it gets!

You'll find the scroll at the north end of the castle map, in the center, (to the left of where the dragon rider room is) where there is a bunch of garbage - either click on the bodies or the garbage, can't remember.

Whimper, I want out of these catacombs.
I've decided it's them or me, darn it's seems to always be them. Marion, you and Nickie keep my spirits up. I am so slow at this ok, drat, I was going to bed, but talked myself out of it again.
Wish be well a deep deep well to get me out of here!!

Ingie, truly the dungeons seem like they take forever, but you're closer to being finished with them then you think. Do a lot of running and take black potions and you can avoid a lot, if you need to. Put that head up high, lady!

I think I spent days at and days in the catacombs, and it drove me nuts, too. It won't be long now until you're through them. smile

Hi Ingie:

I'm glad to hear things are moving along for you. I'm in sort of a catacomb area now in Neverwinter Nights, and it feels like it's gone one forever. I played all day today and I'm still there!

Like nickie said, the real fun is beginning for you. Do as many quests as you can since that will help you level up. Also, you meet a lot more characters that way.

I managed to get to the bridge, helped with the troll, tried to fight a few orc, but found myself running like a scared chicken, I'll take Nickie's advise and return to them when I have more power.
I ended last night in the farmlands. So, I'm just sorta of nosing around and checking the area out. I finally saw on the map, red flags..
I did step on the transporter before leaving and the map lit up as fire burning on the map.
I'm not sure I did the right thing, but I left 1 transporter stone by M. house, He now heals me without having to pay..and I don't have a lot of stuff to trade with. Onward, another day I hope of playing without interrupts.

Hi Ingie!

I have been to the Dark Forest, the Dwarven Halls, Imp's Castle, etc. down south. You've probably figured most of this stuff out but here's some tips (and encouragement)...

If the weapons and armor you find laying around are in good shape, pick them up and stash them near your home base teleporter stone (where you sleep). There is a blacksmith who will buy this stuff off of you (and gold apparently doesn't weigh anything bravo

Hi Gang!

There is a house in Verdistis just north of the General Store that is abandoned. It has a locked hatch in the floor that I just cannot get open. It doesn't seem to be part of a quest or anything, just something that will drive me buggy!

Any ideas?

Marion, I found a bunch of stuff and then put it down, forgot to mark it, but I'll find it. I didn't think I needed it, rakes, shovels, things like that..but I see what you mean.
I don't have enough money to do much with so trading is something I will have to do.
I thought I'd be able to play today, but, those interrups happened, so I'm just getting ready to do a little nosing around. I just love be able to walk in someone's house and they stand there and watch me peek into their stuff, cracks me up.
A locked anything drives me insane. I never did get the trunk under the tree near the orcs unlocked. And I have a bundle of lockpics and that's suppose to be one of my talents! Bah, I'd just as soon take an axe and beat it to death, but it wouldn't let me. I'll be something really good was in there.
Ok, I have my one stone in the 1st village because I saved his mind he's healing me free and quick! I'll make sure I pick it up when I feel safe enough--I am such a chicken at this, I hate getting bashed up and killed.
Hope you get your hatch open, bet Nickie or Jean knows how. If's it locked, there's a reason!

Ingie,

You're playing as a thief, right? Probably the best skills I can recommend are wisdom (increases your experience points) and lock pick. I've found also, that when you put all 5 skill points that you earn when you level up into intelligence, you get 2 skills to pick leveled up as opposed to just one when you apply the points elsewhere. Does that make sense? lol

Don't worry about being a chicken...that's what saves are for!

Yeah, the Singer sword was my best weapon too, until I got the divine one which had frost on it. As far as the locked hatch, there are 3 quests in Verdistis that take you into the hatches, so you may have stumbled across one of those. Which house is it ? OOPs, just reread your post, where you said north of the general store. There are two things it could be, but will have to look to be sure. It might be the place that becomes important later in dealing with the council (have you got all the members for council yet?)

Okay, now sleeping in the hay and found all my stolen goodies.
Marion, thanks for the tip about what to chose, yes I'm a thief, getting good at stealing, I must say, but I have about 7 points to use and 2 skills to choose. So, now I know where to put them.
Dumb bees, and what's with the hostile kitties??
Some Knight came up to me and well, he killed me, but he had help from some bee.
Got to the Blue Something Inn, lots of goodies in the cellar a few in one room that a young lady wouldn't let me investigate.
I found your Maria! Stuck a blue flag right on top of her.
Killed a Troll, but the man didn't really seem to care. Found the cow thief, but kept quiet about it, I tried to tell on him but I wouldn't do it.
He's in jail now. So much going on, I have a letter and have to find a guard to give it to, but no one tells me their name. Rats!
I've been killing anything and everything-surprised the heck out of me when I killed a cow, had no idea I was going to do that. I acheived double digits 10!! That made me feel good. Soon be a teenie booper!!(Oh, that's a punie)
Having fun, the farmlands are busy quests!
Oh and I found the human transporter, now I have to find the scroll..I'm marking everything.
Talked to some strange people that want me to open a garden gate for them...hmmm, backtracked on that one when I saw where I was, a little close to that Abbey Place. What's a nice Catholic girl like me doing? Killing, thieving and generally being a bad/good person....
Keep posting, helps me when I finally get somewhere!!

Audrey, don't worry about that house now it will be relevant later on in the game. Wizards rental house I think. It would not hurt to mark it on your map and make yourself a note so you don't forget about it. smile

Thanks, Chibon!

Okay Ingie...I got through Stormfist Castle. Not much of a problem if you wait until you've done everything else you can do. And I found the imp who took my teleporters at the Council of Seven place. Now I have to round up a member of each race for the council.

I tried to kill the Talking Tree in the Dark Forest with Buad's tea but I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. Lugged a barrel of it all the way over to the tree and I can't figure out how to use it to poison the tree.

Marion, you're so funny! Hauling the tea to the tree. lol I actually didn't get a chance to kill it because I forgot about the tea. Make sure you have the deadwood branch first that you need to give to what's her name, Corinna? rolleyes My poor memory.

Ingie, I had all the dogs mad at me at one point. smile DD is like a whole universe to itself, isn't it?

Somehow I have achieved Level 12, didn't even know I had acheived 11!!Surprise!
Biggest shock was when I went to blow up the orc train, went through a lot of hostile enviroment and left the barrel somewhere. Had nothing with which to blow it up! had to backtrack, left it in a haystack way back when!!
I am now in the Merchant area, finally found someone to repair my stuff, whew.
I chose pickpocket skill, I get to take stuff and when the mechant says find anything, I just say no thanks just looking, and it's in my inventory, now that's fun.
I think I'm trying to help Maria out something with the merchant guild guy..
Killed a bunch of Trolls, I think they were bugging the farmers. They have been blamed for a lot of killing I did.
Blew up the orc well, that went much better.
Now there's a Giant Orc, he kills me dead..
I having a blast, don't want to quit, but I get so mad, I get so involved that I forget to Save and of course, regrets!
Thanks for all the encouragement, yes Jean it's quite a little nice place (HA)

OH, the joy of being back!! Been in dd all evening and I do not which was worse, the dang mosquitoes or those three dingdongs trailing after me in the garden. I played hide-n-seek for a good 10 mins. Ok, I've done the Garden thing, found the vamp in the wine cellar-something unjust about that, of course he sucked me dry..go back to that later, but that will be at least 2 quest solved there. Can't decide to go graveyard picking or back to the dwarf jewler, that'll be tom. nites fun and games, does the guy whose cart got toasted have the tree root or not??can't decide if he's lying or not. I did not burn it.
But, I snitched on who I thought did.
Asked to join the Thief Guild, yeah, my pickpocket skills are horrible..
I'm at the next Level-14 yippee!!
Marion, did you find your dwarf??
Cheers, Ingie

Ingie, did you get the secret treasure stash that is in the garden? And did you think it was really going to be that EASY getting the tree branch?

Yes I found my dwarf! happydance The council of seven is now complete and I banged the gong. Ended up in a desert (wastelands?).

I left a few quests not done such as the bottle of wine for Corinna. I got the bottle of wine but apparently not the correct "quest" way. Also couldn't bust Tingalf. Found the depot first (nosey me) and then the quest wouldn't work. Oh well...too many things to kill and not enough time...story of my life. thumbsup .

I'll be back!
