Good Saturday morning! Peepers! We finally have spring peepers! They were singing loudly last night from the pond down in the pasture. How those tiny little frogs can make so much noise is a mystery. Sometimes when they really get cranked up, it can hurt your ears. Definitely my favorite sound in the world.
I do feel extremely fortunate that we are in a position to be able to keep things up... it makes a lot of difference. I guess in a city you can walk, but still, walking long distances toting groceries is not fun either! And, oldbroad, I TOTALLY get the aging thing! I will be 78 this year and my days of walking long distances like I used to are over because my knees are bone on bone. They don't hurt - yet - but I do have to be careful not to twist them. And with some other health issues emerging with my husband, I've gotta stay healthy! I wish there was a place I could donate about 40 pounds.
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

Good morning everyone,
True to the weather forecast it's pouring out there, so it's a guilt-free couch day. I might watch TV or I might play one of my current games.
We have frogs here, too. I'm not sure what kind, but I suspect it's tree frogs. They sing at night.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good morning all! Soot, a couple of different shops have been used already. Drac, when you find that place for the donation, let me know. I'll donate also! Since we've retired, we live very sedentary lifestyles, so that is certainly not helping anything. Today my sister would have turned 70. I think that's one reason why I've been feeling out of sorts. I'm sorry it always comes out at GB. You all know, you are the friends I talk to the most . (I put a "hug" here but it is not showing up???) Connie, that is so wonderful that you had such a great day! Ah, now it is. Gremlins

Oldbroad, Of course you're feeling a big out of sorts if this would have been your sister's 70th birthday. Large virtual hug from me to you... And if you can't come here to GB and feel a bit out of sorts, where CAN you go?!!! Hagatha, this is some audio of spring peepers - they are tiny little frogs no bigger than your thumb! I know you all care, Marian! I just wish I had some good, exciting, pleasant things to share once in awhile You regularly coming to Gameboomers is what’s important to the rest of us here, oldbroad. How many of US manage to post “good, exciting, pleasant things” ?? 😑😑😑

Good Morning everyone! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready to share with all our GB friends. This is a specially place for me too oldbroad. It is difficult on the anniversary of the passing of a loved one and GB is a community of caring friends that are here for each other at times like this. It truly has been a comfort for me at GB. Getting to know so many people all over the country and the world who are willing to take the time to help and comfort each other is hard to find these days. So thank you all for being here all these years I've been a part of this community...it has made a difference in my life not just with gaming but with friendship! Gerry

Good morning everyone. Oh but it was difficult to get up this morning! And then I remembered I lost an hour last night I'll chip away at projects today...slowly. Make a grocery run and relax with a good book after I Garden. But first I'm going to need another cup of WADDB! Enjoy your Sunday everyone
