Jenny100 -- only in Europe as far as I know. (Of course, it could have released in Australia while I wasn't paying attention.) North American release will be in August.

I was there on May 19th. Didn't see you, so I left.
Incidentally, Anacapri is pretty high up the mountain, so be careful if you don't like heights. You get there via the "Mama mia" road, so called because the edge of the road is next to a sheer drop of hundreds of feet to the rocks below.

I got mine last week direct from Italy. Have had a quick walk around and will start shortly, need to finish Dead Reefs first. Will you be able to go on the east side of the island where most of the action took place in'A Quiet Weekend' or does the game concentrate on the west side? I have a poor sense of direction and got to know the 'eastside' really well.

Jenny100: as Becky already wrote it's been released in Europe on June 30.

My order status with GotGame (through Amazon)says delivery anywhere between Aug 2-16th. It's killing me! Any first impressions of the game? I am really happy someone has it.

Sorry about that. I was trying to be coy and didn't succeed too well. Yes, I was really there. Haven't seen the game yet and I understand it will be a while before it's out in the U.S.

So, yes, it's also true what I said about the "Mama Mia" road. My cowardly companions had hysterics for ten minutes because of that. Being intrepid, mine lasted only five.

I've been playing Travelogue Rome:The Curse of the Necklace (a casual game) and its really been whetting my appetite for the upcoming Anacapri game. Can't wait!

Can anyone tell me if the game Anacapri The Dream will be on CD or is it only on DVD.

Redcell -- I believe that the North American version will be on DVD.

That is to bad. A lot of players do not have DVD. I think this will cut down on sales. There is not a lot of imformation on this aspect of the game. Thank you for your reply

Redcell -- we did a poll recently, and everyone who responded did have a DVD drive. I even asked anyone who didn't have a DVD drive to please post that info, and no one responded.

No, I do not have a DVD drive, CD only.

Redcell -- there are exterior DVD drives that are inexpensive and easy to use. I know that the tech experts in the Glitches forum would be able to give you recommendations as to what to look for when purchasing one.

More and more games are coming out on DVD now -- I think the tide is finally turning that way.

Oh a whole month or so to wait for the game. I'm drooling and very envies over all who are playing it. Seems like I've been waiting for ever. Diane
