If it is her uncredited movie debut, then I will guess:

The Creature of Kapu Cave

Becky, I will keep Roberta in mind for a next time.

Orchgamer, sorry wrong guess.

I think the little grey cells are not at their best this weekend, hence another clue.

Clue#5: A movie based on a comic book series, starring Jim Carrey.

Your bet was right L4L! The question for me is now, should I give another clue or let this clues simmer for a while?

I decided to wait a little!

It sounds like it should be Phantom of the Opera, but that was never made into an adventure game as far as I know.

How about Sherlock Holmes: Silver Earring?

Mad -- Bernard is adding a layer of challenge, which I like. laugh You first guess the name of the movie/cultural reference. Then from that you guess the name of the game.

Oh gee, poor me, I haven't been able to guess either film titles or game titles. I'm completely in the dark, just right for Halloween.

To love is to be happy with!

lol Bernard -- is it cheating to Google or Wikipedia the film titles in your cultural clues? (If so, I've been cheating.)

Could it be Jack the Ripper? It would fit with 'View to a Kill', a tophat & a mask! - can't remember where a rose & ring would come in think smile

Good evening and good night ladies and gentlemen. First I would like to thank Becky for her kind words, It's always nice to hear that someone likes the little games you construct. As for using Google and Wikipedia I say please do, I use them too. I try to give enough keywords in every clue to find the name it's pointing at using the Net. Niteowl07 did give the right answer (Still Life) but please Niteowl, next time time don't edit a previous reply, make a new one! I just saw a few minutes ago reviewing the previous replies!

Well it's up to you now Niteowl!

Bernard

P.S. I hesitated with clue #2, because the name Roberta has something in common with the names of most of the female characters in 'Still Life'. Bonus points for the one who tells me what I'm hinting at.

Bernard - not that I'm nit picking , but the post was edited before you responded , not after. Perhaps it had more to do with my lack of capitals or placement , that you did not see the guess.

At any rate ,I give my turn to Becky , as time prevents me from playing for this week. Have fun , everyone !

After flailing and failing, I get to give a clue? Life just isn't fair all the time, is it?

I hope you're doing something very enjoyable for the next week, niteowl!

Clue (directly for the game): this is not where I'd expect to find three different kinds of holy water.

Three holy waters? Yhat points me to India.
India, what adventure games are situated there?
My guess would be 80 days, altough I never played this game.
