I've downloaded a few games from steam and haven't had any problems. Downloads are pretty fast also with brodband.

I thank you all so much. It is great to be part of your Boomer family. BTW I looked into steam but the only thing that bothers me about them is the way they handle the updates. Your at their mercy on the updates even when you buy a game from them. The updates on other sites even from the creator of the games will not work on your game. I read this on their forum. Only the updates from steam works and if they do not have the update yet, you have to wait until they do get it. I would love to join steam because they even keep track of all of your games purchased and you can uninstall and reload anytime you want. It is like having a CD but without the resale value. I will be looking forward also to downloading longest journey on adventureshop when adventureshop releases it. I look forward to playing a game that won game of the year. I heard that neither Dreamfall or the origional longest journey do not have animated character faces, this I will miss after seeing the animated character faces on Culpa Innata, which was awesome. Thanks for all your comments Boomer family. I hope adventureshop will also carry ghost story called "The lost Crown" really eager to play that because I love spookiness of ghost games. Darkfall was the best so far in my opinion and the first Delaware series game had me holding my breath. The other Delaware series and I buy them all just did not capture that same fear when you enter into a room and a ghost appears. I hate mazes in games though and delaware has had me walking in circles and that is not fun for me. I hate adventure games where a map is needed or you get lost.I loved Culpa because except for the tunnels which I did wander around and would have gotten lost if it were not for walkthroughs
Happy Adventures to you all

I feel the same way as BettyLou about downloading games. I see only disadvantages to it except for getting to play it sooner. I think it's a big risk to take just to play a game a few days earlier. I always have another game to play in the meantime while waiting for it to ship.
