To push it, you have to stand at the back or opposite part of the crate to push it forward.
You might need to pull it to get it in position. luck

Can someone please send me a spoiler where George is pushing/pulling the two crates by the burning builing. I simply cannot get them into the proper place. Thanks. Betty

Thanks, Sue. Yes I finally got the crates in the right place. Thanks for your help. Now I'm in Paris with Nico on the fire escape trying to get into Vernan's apartment. No luck. How, exactly do you capture something from the inventory. Like the pencil and the newspaper and put them under the door?

I don't remember Betty, sorry. Is this one of the games where we had to cycle through the inventory and use the WASD keys?

Sue

I don't remember either but based on the wt:
use space bar to open inventory.
Cycle using the arrows.
The use the action panel at bottom right. Select the action (gears), look (eye), change in position of inventory, etc.
Use page up and page down to cycle the command icons on the action map.

I found the gameplay to be a little hard to get used to, but these gameplay tips really helped me out when I was playing:

Quoting from w/t:Go to the alley behind Vernon's apartment. Climb the fire escapeladder to Vernon's back balcony. Look at the door to note that the key is inside the door. Use the newpaper taken from the alley ground earlier on the door. Then use the pencil taken from the bulletin board on the lobby of Vernon's apartment on the door. Pick up the newspaper and key that ws slid under the door. Use Verno's kitchen dr key on door and enter. well, I cannot see through the door and see and key. I cannot grasp newspaper. Help. maybe someone has a spoiler. Thanks, Bety I may even not be on the correct level.

Betty do you not get a hotspot on the doorknob or lock at all?

Sue

Edit You should get that sparkle effect on a hotspot Betty. Once you have that, maybe you will be able to use the S key, then the D key and get things out of inventory to use.

Hi Betty,

You don't actua;;y "see" the key, as I remember: Nico says something about it.

Quote:
I cannot grasp newspaper
- down in the alley, near one of the bins, you should get the little "grasping hand" icons which will pick up a piece of paper and put it in your inventory.

Use the spacebar to enter your inventory and the "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys on your keyboard to cyle through it. The little icon of a gear in the inventory lets you use an item you have selected.

good luck,

reikidave
