I'm missing the same [blip] rope! Could somebody please send me the save game just before entering in to the hole?

Thanks.

Thanx Texaslady,

got it, it works, but I just couldn't wait, played all over again.
The trouble is that u can lose one rope when trying to lift the shelf and if u don't pick it up it gets lost somehow...

Hi, me again

Can't believe this, I'm stuck again. I am at a point where I should figure out the alphabet symbols and I did that but she keeps saying she needs to figure out sth and won't talk to Nostradamus.

Can u help? Am I missing sth?

Oops! Silly me, I missed the symbol for letter Q, sorry, won't bother u again with such things

Ugh, I don't understand Iva.......I'm sorry. You are doing the alphabet puzzle to decipher that wheel like puzzle? Do you have Philbert's medallion to help you with three or four of the letters? If you have it in inventory, please look at it and see if that will allow you to advance.

Hey Sue,

It's ok. My mistake. I got it all, but simply missed letter Q, and somehow didn't notice it, i.e. I found all the letters but skipped this one, guess I should see an eye-doctor, . Thanks for all your help.

Nancy,

I did not have any problem with a missing rope. So I don't know why the others are missing them.

Rockingrjranch --

You will reach a point in the game where you are in the library at the chateau. While you are there, you
Click to reveal..
need to use a rope. At that time, you may be carrying two ropes. USE ONLY ONE OF THE ROPES for the puzzle in the library at the chateau. Keep the other rope in your inventory to use at a later time in the game.

If you do this, you won't have a problem later with a missing rope.

Thanks Becky!I've wondered why so many gamers had trouble with the rope. I didn't and don't think MaG did either. Guess it's all in the way you play the game.

I struggled a lot with that particular early puzzle because
Click to reveal..
I forgot I could "grab" and pull the rope. lol So I thought: maybe I need to try to get two ropes tied together, put the second rope on that pole thing, and when it didn't work I forgot about it and left the second rope on the pole. When I came back to collect it much later in the game, (when I realized I needed that second rope) it was gone.

Oh No! I just went to the Kheops site and was going to download the game. What's the difference between FTP and Bit torrent download? I assume I need to use the File Transfer Protocol download..

I've already finished this game once but I'm playing again and I'm trying to get Philibert's notes out of the book too. But everytime I do, she just makes a remark about the stain and AMP. I've done everything else. What am I missing?
