Hey Guys, Playfirst just released Dream Chronicles 2-The Eternal Maze It's a 30 minute demo and I'm pretty sure they are not going to release it to anyone for at least a few weeks. I would love to hear what you guys think of it. Margie B

Downloading now and will post my thoughts after playing the Demo. But I am sure it will be wonderful and an eventual purchase when it hits BFG. Linda **edit: 4 minutes wasted and all I found is the hammer so I came here to see if I can get out of the hole before my 30 minute demo ends please.

Linda try using the hammer maybe on the tree trunk.
Sue
Sorry Linda I had another stupid brain fade. Click on that frog looking thing in the middle and use your hammer on the glass.

Thanks Sue, I tried clicking on the center thing but it didn't register so I didn't try with the hammer I am out of the tree-trunk now! Linda

Hey Linda, wait until you get to the maze, lots of fun. I ran out of time at the 3 doors. I managed to open 2 of them and have the blanks to make the stones for the 3rd door but can't find the stones and got my "2 minute warning". Awesome game, will be buying as soon as it hits BFG. Looks like a definite winner but then I expected it to be. Only problem is it is still difficult to find the gems and I didn't have time to look into "meditate on the gems" to unlock the secrets and am wondering what the secrets are that get unlocked. I will just wait until I can purchase the game. Thanks Margie! Linda

Hey Linda, The "meditate on gems" gives you clues that will help you in different levels of the game. For example, "Touching one tile flips the tiles that touch it. Start in a corner, then work your way across the board." This refers to the puzzle that is on the door once you cross the magical waters. Margie B.

Thanks Margie....I loved the first game. I haven't had much time today to explore the second one but so far it's all good. I love watching the story play out.

Downloading demo now. Will wait for BFG to tell us good news soon. EDIT Oh help - just had my 30 mins & got stuck on the last door too. I made the moulds & I'm sure I had to chop up the wood to make squares but the game would not let me. Tried putting them all over the place & a few unladylike words were used. What should I have done & where, please, so I won't get stuck when I buy the game?

I played the demo and loved the game so much that I want to buy it from playfirst because I just can't wait for BFG, too impatient. I am able to buy this from playfirst right? I got as far as the last door across the water, and the one thing I do not understand is how do I get the clues from the gems? EDIT ***************************************************** Jenny, you probably figured this out by now, but the tree is like a jigsaw puzzle, you have to find the pieces laying around to match the animals carved into the tree. After the pieces are all collected and placed they remove the pieces and the pieces of jigsaw of animals look like pieces of bark, and again you place them like in a jig saw puzzle back on the tree. I hope this helps you. Also the pieces are not easy to find, sometimes I just waited and a glint showed up to show me a piece of puzzle or gem. Don't forget to look for the bright gems also. EDIT********************************** Sorry Jenny P. I see your past the tree, and at the water to cross it. You jump in random order across the water, after you solve the 2 wall puzzles. don't worry you won't fall in, but they do make you start over again. Kinda like following a set path across the water. Does this help you? EDIT************************************************* Thank you Sue I shall explore the Jewels in the book.

Yes I believe the game is available for purchase from Playfirst Sherryah. Try looking in your book at the jewel pieces you've picked up. There may be other puzzles associated with the game in there too.

Hi Sly One Here are the locations for the hexagons.
Gramophone Room 1-Top right side, by the box. 2-Left side, on the middle shelf, close to the base of the crystal ball. 3-Bottom left corner, on the floor, under the cabinet where the handle is. 4-Left side, bottom shelf of the bookcase on the left, you will not be able to get it until you've opened up that box with the key. *DISC-Upper right side of the scene, on the second shelf.
Upstairs 1-On the floor, right side, by the bookcase, in between the shadows. 2-On the floor, left side, close to where the pile of books are. *DISC-Bottom right side, leaning against the entrance, close to the steps.
First Floor 1-Right side, by the left side of the steps, close to the switch box. 2-Left corner, by the base of the door. *DISC-Left side, on the top left side of the highest picture on the wall.
Courtyard 1-On the ground, right side of the water fountain.
Hope this helps, Margie B
