Hi. I haven't had a chance to play today but last night I fixed the car after doing what I needed to do in town, no luck. All is the same. It is difficult for me to remember what all I need to do since I've played this part before. Perhaps there is something that I've forgotten to do.

Check the journal to see if you missed a task, read a document or about a character. Also ask the finger of suspicion in Poirot's office.

I am at the same place that I was before. I have checked the journal, all tasks are checked off. Last entry, find Tom Cutters' treasure. I have been instructed to "talk" to Redfern and Weston by the finger of suspicion. My problem is, that I can't find these people to talk with. I went back to see if the car was still in the garage and it is. Help, I have been deserted.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I need help in doing the car. I have the tools, looked to the right of the engine and he took off some wires I think, at least his hand was in a grab mode. Took the distributor cap off, then the two items that needed to be removed, now when I try and use the file on wherever, he says, "no." If I just use his hand, he says it's stuck, but when I try and use the wrench or screwdriver again, they're not working. I'm sure I've missed something, but not sure what. Help please.

Yes, Sue, I looked it over and wrote down the instructions. I have an old monitor that our daughter gave us and no matter how dark I tried to get the screen the picture wasn't a good one, so kept at it and finally got it. I try and do a lot on my own without looking at the WT, but I'm stuck in trying to find "the treasure." WT says on the path to Rocky Beach, but I can't find any hot spot. Help please. Thanks.

Butterfly I think the final area to dig in is behind the hotel itself. However I don't know if you have to try to find the first spot on top of the summit and have him pace off there first.

Not sure what you mean by "final area." Trying not to say to much to give things away, but this is in regards to the darts. When you say top of the summit, do you mean that hill above where the blind was built - there is nothing up there, just grass and dirt and sand?

Merci vrainment MaG. I am wondering how it is that some of us had a problem (glitch) and some of us didn't. I didn't want to have to use the save but it worked and that's what counts at this point. Again, thank you kindly.

I don't know. I played the game following the clues and it lead me from one place-puzzle to another and did not have a glitch.

I just want to say that I came to a 'standstill' in this game quite a few times but never a deadend (I know it's been mentioned earlier that there maybe a glitch if you fix the car too soon but I never experienced that).

The game playing area is quite vast & it is so easy just to miss one little thing that helps you get on - also you do have to keep checking your documents etc - that is something that definitely held me up a few times!

Terri, as I remember, the first place is down by the lounge chairs--I think that's where Poirot will automatically count of the number of paces.

i am in the same situation as some of you.i can;t find that treasure i don't know where to look exactly.i walked around the island pacing poirot,but nothing. i can't find the spot.and i can't move forward.i don't know what to do.please help

Leila check the journal and see if there are items that need to be checked off. If you are still stuck, go to the office and use the finger of suspicion.

i've done that texaslady,i've checked the everything in the journal i've used the finger of suspicion and it told me to talk to weston.i've already done that i gave him the scatch.i don't know what else to do.i've checked the rooms,they are locked,i've talked to everybody i met now nobody wants to talk to me.what's wrong with this game?still stuck

Check the walkthrough and see what you need before talking to Weston the second time.
I think you need something from another character or something you need to read in documents before he will talk to you again.

I am stuck again in that I can't get out of Act 5. One thing to complete (it says) and that is the testing. I went back to the WT and checked off everything I have done and it was all complete. I did check another hint site and they had the bottle of pills from Lane's room for testing also, but when I click on the bottle in the cabinet, Poirot says, "item's not needed for their story." That is the only item I can think of that I have missed. I have checked everything on Poirot's sheet, suspects, documents, etc. and as I said everything is done except for the testing is not crossed off. I read through everything for Act 5 and as far as I can tell, everything is done. Suggestions?

Yes, these games are frustrating. IF you can't move on, you have missed "something", probably very minor but even that can hold you up.

Like MaG said, check her walkthrough .. go back to a save and follow that walkthrough ....

If you haven't progressed ... you have NOT "done everything", it's that simple.

Well, I did go back to a save and did exactly what I had done before, but in doing so some conversations seemed different, but I'm sure it had to do with the lab tests. After I did them again, it was crossed off the list, so now am in Act 6, but am stuck again. This time at the box in Linda Marshall's room. I only thought of this after I clicked out of the game. I am not getting any hand or gear looking thing, am I just suppose to click on those signs? If not, then I'm not sure what to do, unless it has to do because I didn't look at the timings I did in the cave before clicking off? Help again please. Thanks.
