Thanks for the update Becky I look forward to another Black Mirror!

I just ordered several days ago the American version to have it in my collection, can't wait for 2.

I loved one Butcher. I am almost done just a little bit to go but with the nice weather I prefer to do the gardening. I am excited about two coming out. I hope its point and click like this game. Rain is coming the next three days so I should get a chance to finish it.

I will definitely keep an eye on any developments for BM2, 1 is one of my favourites, let's hope that the recipe for the 2nd one is also successful.

Pretty much now it has only been an announcement about the game, no official date has been discussed, gamespot has this as release date TBA. I am not sure there have been any more news about it's development since it was announced.

Butcher's right -- not a lot of news on this one yet. I'm guessing it'll release sometime in 2008.

It was a great game and glad to see a sequel.

Misa -- it has become increasingly unclear as to what is happening with Black Mirror 2. During the recent Adventure Developer's Online conference, one of the Future Games developers was asked about Black Mirror 2, and he said that Future Games did not have it in development.

I think we need more information, which I'm hoping will be forthcoming fairly soon.

Becky, I didn't even see when this thread was started until just now. I guess I thought the thread was recent or maybe was hoping it was?

Well that's too bad that there isn't more info yet. Appreciate all you and the other GB moderators do to keep us informed.

Will you be able to get in touch with some people from Future Games and DTP/Anaconda , so they can confirm at least something - if the games is in development or not , and if Yes who is developing it.

I PM'd the two moderators on the Anaconda forums.One of them did not answer me at all . The second one wrote me this:

So i wrote her another message to atleast tell me if the game is in development , but no answer so far.
So for now there is no new info.
I hope Becky will be able to get som new info , because i couldn't , but I am sure a lot of people are interested.

As far as my German goes, this German company will develop the BM2, applying its original technologies. As for the Future Games, there is no hint as to whether they are in for this project or not. It makes me feel a bit uneasy about the sequel. Good script is a clue to the boom success. If they changed for the other group of authors, we are on a shaky ground. Not everyone can put on the shoes of those, who created the BM world for us.

I just finished Black Mirror last night. wow what a great game, I was totally absorbed in it. I look forward to the sequel. I hope the story holds up as well as the first Black Mirror.

The most interesting part is they did the programming for Simon 4. The other references are not to adventure games.

I haven't heard any word back from ANACONDA. Still waiting for news.

Hi everyone, Black Mirror 2 has been on my list of games to buy. I really been looking forward to it for quite some time I have only found very little about it on the web also. All I hear about it is late this year. I hope someone will find something out soon. The first one was very good. I played it sometime ago. I just loaded it in my computer again for my 19 year old to play. I just got her to start playing adventure games. This is her third adventure game to play. I used to be the only one around playing. Now we compete for time on the computer. She use to just play playstation and xbox games. But she is becoming an adventure fan now too.
