Alice, if you look on the other thread, I talked about the patch and what it could do to your game. Hope you have no problems, and get to play,

Thanks, but I do not want the hermit to eat me. rolleyes slapforehead I made peace between the loggers and the fishpeople. I have found all the things for the Monoliths except three, I forget where the others are so just having a good time. Have not tried the new game yet, too busy with this. I am still not having one bit of trouble with the patch with my Vista Ultimate, which is great I think.

Thanks

Nickie I've started a new game from scratch. Made two 'saves' and quit - bed time sleep

Drac, you realize you can play the new adventure (two or three hours worth) from the start menu, right? It was included in that patch.

Threads, hope the game works out for you this time!

Yes, I finally figured that out from what Trail said in the other thread. I'm so tempted to re-install the game, but I've got two other games going on right now that I really should finish.

Only two...? Being the poster-child for dysfunctional multi-tasking I say go for it! crazy My significant other calls my gaming sessions "Short Attention Span Theater" lol

Trail- yay

If you do not want to lose your saved games and have Vista, I have Vista Ultimate, I have taken it off several times and not lost the games, they were still in the same place. Do not know if this works for xp.

Good Luck

Maggie, that may be a problem. With the new patch, the save games will still appear to work but because they were made before the patch, problems may show up later in the game for no apparent reason. Taking the game off and re-installing is not going to make those saves any different. You may never have a single problem with that earlier save, and then again you might.

Thanks for letting me know, I just took it off, except for the saves and am going to patch it and see how it works. If it still gives me problems then I will know for sure and will let you know.

Thanks so much

If it's fun to play, not a bad idea anyway to start from the beginning again with the new patch. grin

Hi-

I seem to have a problem, I am part three, I have gone into the sewers and up the ladder to the Salamandra hideout. Got the stone and this time talked to the guy in the mirror, but when I come out no wherewolf or fighting, can't find him anywhere. Any thing I have done wrong??

Thanks

Doubt it. The stuff occurs in the game at different times according to what else you have done. That's why it's so much fun to play this game more than once. If you're out a lot at night, no doubt you'll see him eventually. burger
