Actually I don't know if there is more than one Hidden Mysteries games. Civil War, secrets of the north and south just came out on CD, and I don't know if it has been a download, and people have played it and can tell me anything about it. I did search and didn't see anything, but naturally could have missed it.

Gamestop.com just got it in Sue. The box art looked really cool and it's listed in their casual games section, but they didn't give any other info about it. Here

tascha, this is the first we have heard of the game as you can see. I have not found a download site but you can see BFG-Guy's post a few up on this thread and he does mention that BigFish will have something on it. Ana

You do not have long to wait and BFG will have it first. We have a great relationship with Game Mill (as we do with most developers).

It's pretty much fun to play. I'm not that far into it yet, but you have either timed or relaxed mode to play in. Find the hidden objects, including clues for something later in the game I guess. Occasionally you'll find letters, such as a general to another or a soldier to his girl at home (that are consistent with the theme) which are encrypted, and you have to figure out the code.
The best thing about the game is it is atmospheric with excellent ambient sound, and includes historical information so one can learn about the civil war from different perspectives.
The not so good stuff is that the objects are often teensy to find (MCF items are gigantic in comparison, and I thought some of them were little!) and the game is pretty short (again in comparison to MCF, which is the only casual games I have to reference to).

If you've been waiting for a HOG challenge-- this is it.
It's very difficult but educational. I love history and this game has that. I did find the objects extremely hard to find and as the game progresses very small and well hidden. They give you plenty of hints though, so while challenging it's not impossible.
Not sure how long it is as I just finished the demo. Not sure if I'll buy it or not. I probably will... I knew a HOG would come out as soon as I used up my coupon!
