I just used the plastic wrap over my monitor, numbered the squares, but also had paper and pen beside me. When the computer played, I quickly wrote down the numbers on the paper. Since you can't take your eyes off the monitor, make it an 8-1/2 by 11" paper, that way you have lots of room to write down quickly.
I just finished the game. I got a score of 3637800 (Novice Fairy). I also put plastic wrap on screen and numbered with big felt pen, quickly wrote numbers down and DONE IT !!!!! it is times like this it is good to live on your own, if anyone could see plastic wrap on the monitor they would think I had lost it, but for those who are stuck please give it a go , after that, building the knights if great fun.
Keep going, the feeling great at the end.

L4L - No, but the last puzzle was really hard for me. I thought I'd NEVER get through it.

Help, I am almost finished, but do you have to work out the Dream Jewel of Osiris?? to get the maze map, I cannot see it properly on the walkthrough, to be honest I have not got any of them, This is one of the best games I have played for a long time. I have enlarged the map and printed it of, have found 1 key near all the heads, but cannot get around the tunnels, what is a 'potion' at the end of one tunnel? and do you only see the 'chest's when you have the 3 keys? as yet I have not seen a chest!!! all I keep seeing is broken barrels.
Keep going, the feeling great at the end.

Widget, glad you are making progress. One of these days I'm going to take a "gaming vacation"--turn off the phones, not answer the door, take the dogs to my son, and eat junk food and play games for a solid week. I found another Walkthrough here if you find that you need it.

Sounds like a great idea, 'gaming vacation' not sure about the junk food, bottle of red wine and plenty of biscuits, thanks for the other walkthrough, have nearly finished though, you really must get this game it is fantastic, if you do don't use the walkthrough till you are desperate.
Keep going, the feeling great at the end.

Widget, that is why I had a heck of a time finishing it. I had the map too and it was still difficult even when I drew it by hand. There is a door with a hole in the middle of it When you get the keys and open the chests and do the doorknobs, you get that key to open the door - I had a heck of a time finding that door. But once you do all that and get the potion and go back to the tunnel where Fidget is, you will have finished the game. OH yes you see the chests but can't open them without the right keys

Thanks rainbowlady, I now have all the gems, then went to bed, tonight I will find where the heads to put them in, then as you say, find the door with the hole, then find my way out,
I love it, thanks
Keep going, the feeling great at the end.

Hmm, well I'm writing a guide currently but for some reason I cannot find the jewel that's hidden near the towers, can anyone give me a clue?
Also, I found a really weird glitch. Halfway through the 1st maze (Chapter 9) I got a message that said something about giving Fidget some potion right away, lol. Hmm, I think that was meant for the end of the game... strange.
