Hi Challis,
The objects are always in the same place but the hat moves around.
The Gamezebo tips shows the hat in a particular place, but it wasn't there for me, it was somewhere else.
So, what one needs to do, if they can't find the hat, is to finish the case, and then restart the case, going to each location, as they are all available, and look carefully for the hat, if satisfied that it is not there, then click on the objects and go to next place.
Good Luck, Flo

Just curious, anyone try to figure out whodunit before arranging the suspects in the grid pattern? Only one case so far where the guilty party was the last one would have chosen and that was in the billiard case.
Never resist a generous impulse.

I guessed one out of 5, not very good. LOL but I love this game. The items are tough to find but there are plenty of clues to be found. There are a lot of cases to solve and I want the game to last so I'm just doing two a day.
This can compare to Mystery Case Files (all except Madam Fate) in my opinion.
Prices are going up everywhere except in our incomes.

Carla, I have no idea. Did you check the game site to see if they have a Help forum or FAQ?

You could post over in Glitches, but if you do be sure and read this post about the info they need from you. You might also find help In this Post which has various steps you can take to try to get a game working. And, ther eis also the possibility that someone will come along who has had the same problem and successfully solved it. Edit: Carla, this is just a thought--I see in your post that you downloaded the flash player, but perhaps you need to install it or enable it in some way? Have you tried rebooting your computer. I have no idea why that would help, but I know that sometimes when my computer is wonky, it helps.
