widget, are you just following the walkthrough? Why don't you try letting the game pull you along instead of worrying about what you should have according to the walkthrough? Check every location, if you still have gold dots in a location, there is more to do. When you are done with that, go to office and use the lab, then go to Scotland yard and do everything you can in the 3 locations on the desk. They should all have green check marks when you are done. Then see if you triggered a new dot on the locations. The timer has been removed. To receive your patch please see thehoods message Here. Ana

[quote=MaG]Minooka, The walkthrough is finished - see if the deduction explanation helps you. Click on an item from the suspect and see if it matched an item in the evidence frame by clicking on a similar item. For example: ashes with ashes, green cloth with green cloth or ribbon with ribbon or hair with hair. This way you then know who owns those evidence.Thank you MaG for a w/t. And thanks to Frogwares for a patch to disable the timer Linda

minooka,
Glad you did it. I better add a more direct solution rather than explaining the deduction part of the game later.
Edit: I added new step by step for that deduction part of the walkthrough.

Ana Ana- I tried the address given to access the drawing and it will not work for me. Is there anything else out there that does a step by step, or could you assist me with accessing that help? Thanks!!

Donnakaren, I tried the link too, and it looks like you need to create an account for the forums (separate from your account that you use to download)
At least, that is what I got. I was signed in and could download but could not access the link. Instead, I was taken to a "Create Account" page.

Hi everyone,
I am new at this and I am not even sure if I am posting the ? in the right place. My apologies in advance.
I am in chapter 5 with 1:58 to go before they let me go on to the next level. The only thing I have left to do is finding the coat in Gordon's chamber. I have clicked and clicked on the one hanging next to the wig but I am not able to get it. Is there another coat that I am not seeing? HELP! I would hate to have to do the number sequence and the string puzzle again! Thanks

Hi roxop, and to GameBoomers I'm not playing this yet, but there is a Walkthrough Here.I looked at it and I see a mention of a Coat, it's not a coat that you wear] And I see Gordon's Chamber, but I don't see a coat mentioned there at level 5.

To GameBoomers roxop. I don't recall having to find a coat. Have you checked the MaG's walkthrough? EDIT: Hi L4L Ana

Thanks to you both.
There is a silhouette of a dress coat as a hidden object to find. And that is what I can't seem to get. Maria

Sorry - It is not a coat - it is the tuxedo. Use the key on the drawer and you will get the tuxedo or formal wear that Gordon wore on that picture.
-------- Move the wrapped paintings at right of room and under the window. Take key. Use the key on drawer to get tuxedo.

Ana- Just checked my email!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I can hardly believe how helpful and friendly everyone at Gameboomers are! Blessings to you- and happy gaming! Yes- I did check MaG's wonderful walkthrough- still couldn't do it after several steps- I guess visually after tiles were moved I got some of the columns and rows confused.
