In my 3 replays of the game, I closed the umbrella first.
Then I have used the spoon at various times to open the wall hook. So I don't think it matters.
The knife is behind that item bottom left of the picture I posted earlier. luck

Finally found the knife and finished in the storeroom. Went to the Cement Works to do the water-weighing puzzle and finished that. Those stupid sun-rays were hard to see and pick up! Am going back to Richmond Street hideout now. Thanks.

I would appreciate a "Save" for the pins puzzle. My eyes are crossing, my brain is mush and I admit to being flumoxed by the PINS!

TIA

This was probably the best casual game I've played even though I had to wait for my son to get home to complete that moving balls to get a 4 type shape.

Hello All: researched all posted items for this game and did not find anything about my troubles. So here goes. First, there is only music in this game - is there supposed to be dialogue? Second, I just did the note from Mary Summer. WT says to look at Suspects at right file tray. Click on it, but nothing happens. Saw something about this saying to use magnifying glass - what magnifying glass???? I don't seem to have one. Or if I do, can't find it. duh Hope someone out there can help me out. Many thanks in advance smile Cheers wave

GeeGee, there is no dialogue.

After you did the note you went to Scotland Yard, right. on The desk you click on the suspects. When you open their police photos up, you will see an outline of what you need to find along with a magnifying glass.

Perhaps you haven't done everything you need to do yet. I would just keep playing in the other open locations until they are all complete. It all comes together no matter what order you do it in.

I used all my clues up in this garden. The hint kept pointing to an area in the glass case - same one each hint!! Have been clicking all over that area but nothing happens. A bit of help would be greatly appreciated. What do I need to click on exactly? Thanks again smile

Have you checked The photos on this walkthrough?

Perhaps the photos from Margies walkthrough will show you what you missed.
